This channel is for posting traditional music of Baltic folk performers. This project is NOT official or commercial, it's just a way to make resources of authentic Baltic folklore accessible for people online thus popularizing Baltic traditions and educating people about them.
In the future I'm planning to upload more historical & ethnographic films with English subtitles, Baltic folk music from pre-Christian period, Medieval war songs, old recordings of folk performers, Prussian folk music, etc.
My main interest is Balts (Latvians, Lithuanians, Prussians) but I might also upload some videos about other ethnic groups (Baltic Finns, Belarusians, Scandinavians) from the Baltic sea region occasionally - it's always nice to put things into a wider perspective.
If you have any questions regarding Baltic ethnography, feel free to drop me in a line - even if I won't know the answer myself, I might be able to direct you to resources where you can find it.
