Užteka teka šviesi saulalė
Čiūtela čiutute čiūtela čiutute...
Užtekėdama randa žvaigždelę
Ketino laimė midų daryti
Visas žvaigždeles susiprašyti
Tik vienos saulalės nepriprašyti
Palauk, laimelę, kerštų darysiu
Devynis rytus neužtekėsiu
Devynis rytus rasos nekrėsiu
Devynis rytus rūkas rūkavo
Dešimtų rytų saulė pasirodė
TRANSLATION OF THE LYRICS:
The bright sun is rising
She finds Morning Star as she is rising
Fortune is going to make beer
And invite all the stars
Except the dear sun
- Wait, ye Fortune, I will avenge you
I will not rise for nine mornings
For nine mornings I will not shake down the dew!
The mist was spreading for nine mornings
On the tenth the sun has appeared

Thank you for keeping the European oral tradition alive! I can't understand a word of Lithuanian but I enjoy it!
