There are some very good veggie/vegan sausages out there, some of the 'meat' sausages are almost all bread and other fillings that may have seen a picture of cow/pig at some point.

Based on the cinnamon video, I think he's trolling. He talks up his chances a bit too much to be convincing before he tries to eat it, and it would have been very easy to try it off camera first and avoid making a fool of himself if he was serious. Even if he is completely serious he doesn't seem as genuinely vile as other professional gammons like Jeremy Clarkson or Piers Morgan.
