Larry's routine was about how transphobia and other reactionary views don't make good comedy, and that's kind of based and could be funny, but the joke as written isn't presentable because it relies on describing the hypothetical transphobic routine too explicitly, and therefore is itself transphobic. ChatGPT might be the perfect tool for revising it, but it'd probably freak out at the scary political words and refuse.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure that Bing's GPT-3 thing has already gone horribly wrong. I do still struggle to see the fear around AI though. Like, ChatGPT isn't unimpressive, it can come up with some decent stuff, but the idea that it's this threat to industries just feels so dissonant to what I actually see. It's a cool toy, but it's really nothing more than that.

I do find it a bit funny when you watch computer science types calling it crazy and scary how it will revolutionise everything. When all it does is make Google searches quicker and just as inaccurate. It can write code with only minor errors but almost all people don't need to use that at any point in their life.
