Once my classmate said "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!? YOU ARE ALWAYS DRAWING IN YOUR STUPID BOOK! YOU ARE TOO QUIET! YOU NEED TO GET BETTER AT EVERYTHING! So I had a friend, I didnโt have a lot of friends when I was little so I tried my best to keep my friends close. But this friend acted different around other people, my classmates tried to tell me what they were really like, but I defended them stupidly. When I met my best friend, my friend would try to bond with my best friend and exclude me from conversations, purposefully making inside joke and references to exclude me.
Come high school, they donโt acknowledge me or my best friend, acting like weโre an embarrassment. Making me quickly realise how two faced they were. They dated my bully, and after high school they suddenly want to reconnect, apologising for screwing up.
But I canโt forgive them, nor can I see them as a friend, is that selfish? Iโve had years to see the real them, and I donโt think they would miraculously changeโฆ but I just started being happy and now Iโm having a meltdown from this event. So Iโm not going to be friends with them again, I donโt want to be tricked again
