you missed the "secret ending" where if you get a good relation with Johnny before the end choice by talking to him and doing his quests, a new option will pop up after waiting at the choice for a few minutes where Johny just hits you with the "how about we go out in a blaze of glory" allowing you to assault the tower on your own where the difficulty gets cranked to 100 and if you die its full on game over and you get the suicide ending, but if you win you become a legend.

My biggest problems with the game aren't the bugs and glitches, its the poor design choices. They spent so much time hyping up Night City and then the game comes out and you can't walk inside 99% of the buildings. That's not exactly something you can patch in. Also they said the game was full of "verticality" which was just a lie. It's one of the most dull open world experiences, for me at least.

I played through those three side quests on my first playthrough, and they are honestly the reason I love cyberpunk. Something interesting about crucifixion quest is the fact that V has the option to say the lines of the two thieves that were crucified with Jesus (or in this case, Josh). One of the thieves believes Jesus and it is assumed they go to heaven, while the other dies a nonbeliever. Personally, I think this represents the choice V has with his own "soul" throughout the game, and seeing Johnny stand reverently as Josh died was a moving experience.

Iām not going to lie I miss cyberpunk. On my first Playthrough I was enjoying the game for what it was.. thinking all my choices mattered and that my decisions would later impact the story somehow. But then I had a friend that beat the game in 10 hoursā¦ that shit hurt my feelings LMAO. To make things worse so many reviews started dropping talking about how the game gives you the illusion of your choices mattering. I just gave up after that, but I might come back to this game because I actually enjoyed certain aspects of it.

Iāve done 3 full play throughs and recently started a 4th, and everytime after my 1st I absolutely dread going through that brain dance tutorial again, itās brutal .. other than that though I actually enjoy going through the rest of act 1 multiple times.. by the way this video was great, I really love cyberpunk, And yet I canāt really argue with any of the negatives u mentioned here, and u nailed all the positives as well

As someone who never watched the trailers or any of the discussion threads on reddit prior to the release, I honestly loved the game. It was my favorite game of 2019/20.
I had no knowledge of the promises CD Project Red made, so what I got, exceeded my expectations as I never played a game quite like this.
The world was so immersive for me, with the graphics, the social contrasts and the story genuinely felt like a desperate attempt at survival.
I felt like I got my money's worth.

I feel like I'm the only one that discovered you're not locked into the opening district at first. It may have been a day one bug, but I was able to explore the entire map from the start. I used the drink recycling trick to make hundreds of thousands of dollars and fill myself with tech long before doing the tower quest.

My worry began to amount as early as the second trailer dropping. It was so different in every aspect to the "bullets" trailer and adopted an extremely high octane, colourful energetic feeling instead of the brooding dystopian they had prior.
I still sometimes go back to that first trailer and think of what could have been. The difference in emotion is insane.
Then my worry amounted more once it was said that it would have character customisation and three backgrounds instead of one singular grounded character - this will obviously take away detail and intricacy from a singular experience. Geralt is a great example of this.
Then my worry amounted even more by the third non-transparent delay and apology.
I had absolutely no anger nor excitement upon its release. Just emptiness and exhaustion.
I don't believe we'll see CD return to its golden age unless they directly hired the previously scattered individuals who made up the past team - which is very unrealistic.
The good majority of the Witcher 3 team is gone for various good and bad reasons between Witcher 3s production, Cyberpunks production and post-launch failure. This all coinciding with the dark cloud and burden that now taints their very name... I just don't think they have the will nor eagerness to return from it.
They'll try I bet, but it'll still pail in comparison to their one-hit-wonder that was Witcher 3.

when keanu reeves was signed it changed everything, the whole story was changed i think, this caused it all to not make sense, i believe the heist was in fact meant to be one the last missions originally as the rumours were that v was looking for the immortality chip, having jackie die at the end instead the start would have had a much deeper emotional impact, with him dying at the start it gave no emotional impact at all as i gave zero fucks about him as there was no bonding time,
i also think having keanu come onboard caused the story to be super linear and like an interactive movie, the mission with malstroms at the start has choices that matter, after that nothing, funny enough that mission was shown in full in 2018 before reeves came along, so i believe they kept it in but everything after that was all keanu

As someone who got diagnosed with cancer at age 22 while attending college, the whole "finding out you have weeks to live when death wasn't even a worry a day before, then just fucking around and doing random side quests" part of this game was the most realistic part.
