Today me and my 11 year old sister were outside sitting on our porch and we got into the topic of flowers, and I mentioned I had never been given any. I said to her I was worried that the only time I would ever get flowers would be at my funeral and she just listened. Fast forward a couple hours and she knocked on my door, so I called for her to come in. She picked a small bushel of flowers from our yard and put them in a small vase, and gave them to me. It was a small act of kindness, but I was trying my best to hold back tears as she told me that she hoped this wouldn't be this last time I got flowers.
