Watching this makes me want to have Dave as my tour guide in Seattle. That would be the most awesome tour.

I cry every time Dave tells a story about Kurt. It just breaks my heart every time.

Seattle in the early 90's was the coolest place on Earth. The music, the movies, the TV shows, the sports teams. Seattle had magic back then. It's still a great place but cant compare to back then. Truly magical.

I love how he has a great relationship with his mother. His mum seems like one of the cool mums that all your friends in high school get along with.

This dude has lived the ultimate life as a musician. Toured the world by the time he was 20. Joined a band that was primed to be one of the best ever and achieved total respect as a musician. Then a second chance & has again got great success & has jammed with almost everyone anybody would ever want to jam with. And I heard he's worth 200 million.

I love listening to his stories! You can see he really cherishes those memories. I would love to see Seattle someday! Thanks Virginia Grohl for investing that $120 bucks----you changed the history of music with that decision....one so many of us will forever be grateful for ! <3

The way Dave Grohl told his story, you can feel it. It's like he's not endorsing a city or whatever. It's like he's talking to you personally. Amazing person. And yes, Seattle is great.

I lived in Seattle from 1996-2005. Worked for gaming companies as a 3D artist. I started listening to more and more grunge rock and my son was in some hard rock bands. I filmed his shows and got to check out the Seattle vibe. It does become part of your DNA. Loved hearing this story.

I absolutely love this! I lived in downtown Seattle right after high school in 1992. This was so the vibe. Very grungy, Starbucks had barely started up downtown. It was very small town vibe. Walking around downtown with a coffee in the middle of the night, going from basement to basement socials. Birkenstocks and flannels. Lol Oh God! Brings me back! And the rain on the cement. I called it a cement jungle because of all the foliage yet roads and sidewalks everywhere. The lights of the city at night made you think about your life. And just being able to afford a salad ha ha. That was a luxury. I walked pikes street market and remembered getting a croissant and thought this is the life! Oh and newspapers in Seattle were dated a day ahead. That always threw me off. Totally different world. Now, it’s a nice place to visit, but I’d never go back. The rain gets to you.

The other drummer Dave mentioned that was playing for Nirvana at that 1990 show he attended upon arrival in Seattle was Mudhoney's Danny Peters.

It's not a matter of Seattle taking Dave back, it's when he'll be coming home. Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, etc. all defined what made Seattle cool while I was growing up. We need grunge and the Sonics back. #makeseattlecoolagain
