Notice how little Lars interrupted Dave during the interview. He asks his question, elaborates a little and just lets him talk.
He's the last person I would expect to be a great interviewer as I've always this perception of him that he's a dude who first and foremost loves the sound of his own voice. Kudos to him.

My god, their chemistry is so good, they simply share stories of their lives, funny hints about everything and laugh their asses of. No stupid babble, no higher ground and being arrogant. Just two musicians with knowledge and memories that share things out of their heart. So genuine, so pleasant to watch.
Lars is indeed a great interviewer and "It's Electric" seems to have right balance of stories from guests and response from the host. Woah.

I met Lars and had a 10 or so minute conversation with him. He was warm, engaging and just really cool. Just like he is here. Also, Lars may not have the technical chops of some metal drummers, but he is an innovator and inspired countless kids to play drums. He's also a monster songwriter and arranger. He plays for the song, and his drumming is perfect for Metallica.

Wow, Lars is really built for radio. What a natural. Great questions, lets the artist speak, stays engaged, and keeps the flow going.
