For the calves: try extending as far as you can into your calf workouts. Being at the bottom of a stretch under weight builds muscle. When the bar touches your chest in a bench press, when you allow your muscles to slacken at the bottom of a pull up, when you let your arm fully extend during a curl. Same is true for calves.

my starting point for working out was actually really good, which surprised me. I was already a black belt in tae kwon do, and had been training for 8 years, and one of the fastest in my high school. It didn’t take long for me to gain muscle, and it’s going really well!
