Maxxine Dupri is genuinely likable and very entertaining. I understand she's a jobber but i'd like to see more of her. But yeah, that match between Maxxine and Rhea was trash. Heard about Charlotte's knee injury, i hope she makes a speedy recovery.

The most frustrating thing to come out of the Ronda Shayna match is that Shayna was the first women in WWE to get a 100% clean win over Ronda yet they didn't do anything with it and treat it not even as an afterthought.

This is probably the worst year for the women’s division since 2014. Rhea’s title reign has been lackluster, most of the women aren’t getting any tv time and Ronda’s second run has been a mess. Triple H has been mostly doing a great job as creative but he clearly does has no idea how to properly utilize the division but to his defense, AEW’s women division is still worse. Hopefully it can change next year.

Maybe Gable Steveson would've had a better debut match against Damon Kemp (his brother). Baron Corbin isn't terrible, but he just doesn't have good chemistry with some wrestlers.

I don't think it's fair to put Charlotte vs Asuka on the list due to the Queen's sudden injury. And even though it wasn't mentioned, I don't think Snoop Dogg vs The Miz should be included due to Shane injuring his knee. An audible was called and Snoop was brought in to take Shane's place.

I appreciate that you brought up the Maxxine/Rhea match alongside the Charlotte/Asuka match.
Seems way too common nowadays for armchair experts to criticize every little thing these talented Individuals do without realizing that botches are inevitable. A few mishaps, a stutter, questionable booking decisions, and gimmicks are prone to happen, as these guys are told to produce quality entertainment on a strenuous weekly basis. You can have a bad match and still be a consummate professional.

It was honestly a pretty good year in terms of wrestling for WWE. Aside from Ronda v Shayna and Steveson v Corbin, there werent many outright bad matches. Can't fault Maxinne since she is very much a rookie and can't fault Charlotte for getting injured

I think not necessarily the worst match but the most disappointing match was Cena vs Theory at WM39. The amount of hype surrounding this match was pretty high. But what we got was a slow paced and underwhelming snoozefest where cena barely did anything at all and there was a point where they had theory BITE cena (YES, THEY WERE THAT DESPERATE). Overall, it was a massive letdown

You got to remember Maxxine Dupri was a Vince hire she never went to the PC learned how to wrestle she even said it herself she just wanted to be a part of wwe they should’ve let her train for awhile before even thinking of putting her infront of a live audience

corbin vs stevenson makes sense if it was leading to a Corbin face turn which se will never know... Angle thinks they were going for a double turn but it just wasnt executed right (like ziggler/del rio and bret/austin)

Maxxine Dupree is proof that it's just fine to be a valet/manager. She seems like a likeable person/character but she doesn't need to wrestle and you can see it's something she isn't ready to do especially on the main roster against the world champion. She's fine just being the valet there's plenty of people who have had great careers doing that and taking the odd few bumps but not having full on matches

Anything that had Shayna Bazsler in it this year. Idk what it is but almost every match I watched from her was either boring or very botchy. She used to be such a beast.

Baron Corbin was the wrong opponent for Gable's debut, they should of chosen someone like Noam Dar. Dar is a safe wrestler, can cut a good promo and he's got an accent so it instantly becomes an All American vs Foreigner (so people will want to cheer for the USA)
