The Texas Chainsaw Massacre match was just ridiculous man, but of course the AEW marks liked it, but if WWE did something like this they wouldâve bitched about it nonstop.

The Texas Chainsaw massacre deathmatch was funny as hell. Yes it was bad but in a funny way, also it was for charity so i couldn't take it seriously, as a great bald man once said, "Goofy wrestling for life".

1. Everything about the Outsiders was terrible. The whole angle had "we have NWO at home" energy. No one involved was likable (for non-thirst reasons) except Shida, since Saraya isn't terribly interesting at AEW, and there is absolutely no way I'd see the dentist as a babyface. Speaking of...
2. Britt Baker moves worse than my elderly mom with degenerative disc disorder, and her & her fans deciding that the best way to build hype was by throwing terrible fat jokes at Taya. And the Lockjaw remains the worst finisher ever, especially since Britt is COMPELLED to eye-f*c the hardcam every time. She's always bad, but here she was at her worst on & off screen.
3. I still have some love for Double J, but matches like this are hurting that. And watching the Hardys anymore is just painful. And the horror elements were just embarrassing; yeah, they were required by WBD, but they would have been better served in a cinematic match and not a regular in-ring one with zero build-up except the announcers saying the name over & over.
You basically hit on a lot of the reasons I've given up on AEW after this year, and adding an 80yo man doesn't signal any hope for improvement.

Lol. He named 3 matches for all of 2023. From a company that gave us Worst Match Of The Year candidates 5 to 7 times each week for 52 weeks. That âNinja-Dragon-Gaiden-Japanese dude on a 10 speed matchâ for example.

I'd say another bad match was Chris Jericho vs. Adam Cole at Double or Nothing. It was very slow-paced, Jericho was really slow, and botched some moves, and they threw Sabu in there for no reason, because he was only involved for a minute. A truly let down of a match
