Sounds like the daughter spooked the demon
"Balthazar! What is it? What's wrong?"
"I think I just fell into the Backrooms or something! I was just walking around the gore nest and I fell through the floor and into this really mundane-looking house. I walked down the stairs and there was this creepy little pale creature with a flat face and weird long hair! When it saw me it screamed like nothing I've ever heard before! It was horrible!"

The timing on this is pretty good! I'm in an old house, alone, moving the last bit of my stuff out, and the creepy ambiance plus the story had me jumping at every shadow, especially as the sun sets and the abysmal interior lighting as I've taken out all my lamps have made the house even darker and spookier. It doesn't help that in the years I've lived at this address, I've never felt entirely alone. . .

This is a good one.
Interesting that in every encounter with the visible beast, no matter how terrifying it is or how it could have a distinct advantage over someone in terms of size and speed... it runs away every time. It scares people badly... but it seems reluctant to stick around and capitalize on that fear after it's been seen. That kinda implies sentient thought, rather than something more animalistic.

Have you thought about doing a video on the (mostly) abandoned Riverview Mental Hospital in Coquitlam, BC?
People say it's haunted, but having worked there, I never saw a single thing that couldn't be explained.
I have legal access to the buildings on site and would be happy to take reference photographs for your artist if you ever decide to make a video on it.
In any case, I'm a huge fan of your work and seeing a new video always makes my day. Thanks for giving it your best and giving us top quality work with every video.
Cheers!

This is a true story I have heard many times. It’s sad that the heads ‘were given to a local man’ and were later lost. I cannot fathom a museum giving such items to anyone at all, today. It seems to have been a very irregular happening even as recent as the 1970’s. Anyone approaching a museum today and asking to take artifacts away for personal ‘study’ would certainly need to have an established academic qualification and interest but would be unlikely to be allowed to take items away.

I just want to say thank you for not putting jumpscares in your videos. It never occurred to me before watching this specific video, but you could definitely throw one in and it would work within the context of the video (I was fully expecting to be caught lacking when the shot lingered on the dark door). Thanks for not doing it. These don’t even need a shock value to be terrifying. That’s how good they are.

It's pretty weird in that despite the ferocious appearance of the creature, it appears to enjoy playing pranks and scaring from the shadows, but turns timid and afraid as soon as it's confronted.
