I love how the pastor tried to get it exorcised, only for the car to dig up dirt on him and expose him for church fraud.

Something about the fire department having no trouble with it is absolutely fascinating

I really am liking the art as it is. A lot of channels and webcomics fall into the trap of experimenting with their art styles too much, slowing down productivity and losing a lot of the charm that made them popular in the first place. I think BTS has found an excellent groove with this present level of grey-scale punctuated with select color. Really is evocative in the best way possible for Fortean faire!

I had a friend who claimed he knew someone with a car that had a radio that picked up a station from the distant past like the 50s. No clue if he was lying or not, but that would be kind of creepy.

Someone: "Hey guys, bad things happen in our town. Let's blame a car!" Everyone else: "OK! Sounds good."

I will always remember that scene on John Carpenter's Christine. When she chase Buddy Repperton down the highway on fire.Of course this is long before CGI so there was an actual stunt man in the burning 1958 Plymouth Fury. It took awhile to film the scene because the oxygen inside the car would burn up within seconds.

That poor Carfax Mascot. The lemon cars had it in for him...

Love you Rich, but I think the singing at the end was scary enough for it’s own standalone episode

That slow zoom-in towards the car when it's parked in front of Allen's house is so terrifying and creepy as the narrator relays how the old woman who argued with Allen died horrifically a week later and you can slowly see a demonic skeleton-looking figure in the backseat staring at the camera - so subtle and creepy as hell!

Right when the Golden Eagle was redeeming itself by becoming a autobot, they killed it.

The story of this car was all over the vintage Chrysler fan communities a few years ago, primarily because they felt sorry for the autistic woman that owned the car (who apparently lived in it at the time) and were annoyed with her mother, who took it away, sent it to a junkyard and heavily damaged it....especially since it's a very rare car. I seem to remember there being some sort of fundraiser for her. The stories about it being cursed, or even being an ex police car, or stolen by a church, were not claimed at that time. I think she's just trying to build a legend for the vehicle.

to me it sounds like the the car wasn't so much as cursed per say, but depending on the, hmm, emotions or intent of the people around it, it seemed to manifest that. ie the fire fighters wanting to save lives so the car helped them do that being see as an angel. people that had ill intent (wanting to destroy it, exorcise it etc) manifested those emotion as a "curse". just some thoughts on it. really interesting story thanks for the hard work in presenting it to us here.

My first car was a 64’ Polara. 383 stroker. It was a high speed rolling death trap. Man I loved that car!

The book was written in the 70's after this car was produced, but the story of the curse extended well into the 2000's. Has art imitated life or has life imitate art at this point? Your wife was right to ask what you were doing. Your scream sounded like the sound effect when an Enderman dies in Minecraft LOL
