It was a mopey, rainy, thundery day outside. Both Meemers and myself were feeling quite dopey and slow. I was taking a break from editing a new video, one about Astronut Captain Octavious VII, who is my backyard chipmunk. I've set up a tiny outdoor restaurant for him, and I've recorded two episodes. At 2:07 it almost looked like he removed his paw so you could hit that key 😭 He's so adorable and I think he's the most patient cat I've ever seen. The tune you played on the black keys was so soothing. It really transported me to a different world. I am regretting so hard right now that I stopped playing the piano as a kid. This is just what I needed! Thanks Martina, and Meemers! I'm adjusting to new meds, it was hot and muggy and my daughter (2 yo) decided to have meltdown after meltdown, today. I put her to bed early and we snuggled for an extra 10 minutes just to remind ourselves that we love each other. Then, I came downstairs, took a look at the diaster I should be cleaning, and the wave of exhaustion and the aching muscles and brain fog just smacked me down. Cried instead of cleaning, and now I'm ready to start building my ladder again. First step: Listen to this 4,183 times.
