Oh man, I'm so glad you're uploading food videos on this channel as well. Food is the one and only love of my life so I always enjoy seeing foodie content. I wanna try those sweet pea leaves with garlic and that black sesame dessert, I love anything black sesame 😭I also really appreciate you including the section about how to eat leftovers. I never waste any food myself so I always love tips for eating leftovers. I'm so excited to see more foodie adventures from you! 💕

As a Cantonese person, it is wonderful to see dimsum loved. Martina, I think you will like 炸兩. It literally translates to fried pair. Essentially, it is those deep fried long, savoury-like doughnuts, 油條, that is usually paired with congee, soy milk, or Taiwanese fried bread (燒餅). It is then wrapped in rice noodle sheet, 腸粉. Drizzle a bit of the sweet soy sauce and it’s chewy, crunchy, sweet, and savoury.
Good snow pea sprout or 豆苗, can be hard to come by because it can easily get tough if not harvested at its time of perfection or animals get to it first. Very good to see that your dish has young tender looking leaves.
Toronto is a beautiful place for dimsum and 粥粉飯麵 (congee, rice noodle, rice, wheat noodles). I miss it ever so much.

Thanks for sharing your love for dim sum! The Chinese sausage like what people here have said, is Lup Cheong. Some food show host refer to it as Chinese chorizo but lup cheong is sweeter…
Pro tip for lazy people who don’t know what to do with their leftover non-fried dimsum: if you don’t have a steamer of sorts at home, pop a cup of water together with your plate of dim sum in the microwave when you’re reheating. The cup of water creates the moisture like a steamer so you won’t have dried out dim sum.
Enjoy!
