Ahoy~ Crewmates and Passengers on the King Kogi Airship~
Captain Martina here. I've been quite busy finding an apartment. Haven't had much time to focus on filming and editing, but I've been filming the little adventures and quests I get to have during this re-settling process.
I've been living in a short term apartment rental since I landed, but happy days, I found a place! I'll be packing up and moving shortly. More quests, adventures, and cooking videos to come!

The best way to convince people that red bean is a normal dessert thing, that I have found, is to remind them that coffee and chocolate are beans too. Seems to ease people into the idea haha

I am going through a HORRIFIC domestic violence spurred break up. Restraining order, living in a hotel, totally alone with my sweet baby toddler. It's so scary. I didn't think this would be my life. I never realize how much I miss Martina content until I get Martina content. Every video makes me want to join in on the fun or the adventure. Seriously...right now it's cold and rainy but I was like " I should go on a picnic!"

I absolutely understand the small adventures thing. We didn't have much money growing up so my mom would just randomly take us to new places in our city by public transport. Start at our nearest station and then switch to any different bus or tram line whenever it felt right. Might not sound interesting to a lot of people but it really was. Now I still do similar things as an adult, a small adventure is already taking another route through the huge park nearby.

As someone with chronic pain your gentler reminders to be present in a different way than we are present with our pain is much appreciated. I had nightmare last night and woke up at 3am. I decided to watch Martina videos, it gave me so much comfort that I was able to fall asleep again. Listening to the music at the end as I slowly fall back asleep. I decided to write this comment the moment I wake up to let her know how much impact her videos and words have on us fan.

I met Martina at a café in Hongdae, Seoul 8 years ago when she was getting cake. I couldn't have been a more embarrassing excited fan and Martina was absolutely lovely to me and my friend. So sweet and humble. My friend didn't know who she was and told me after that he thought I met a friend. That's how genuinely sweet she was. I don't know why I'm sharing this now but I just felt like telling this story and how she gave me a great and happy memory, which I will always cherish :)
