"Getting to know myself again." I felt that in the depths of my soul. I lost my mom last November, I took care of her every day as she battled cancer, and I have felt like I'm drowning. I feel lost. Martina, I am also a lifelong pain survivor. I recently moved my family out of suburbia into a pretty secluded house on 75 acres of land. I have been amazed how just getting outside and doing chores like feeding my pigs makes me feel so much better. I can be inside and feel like I just can't move but once I force myself outside I almost feel normal again. I am patiently waiting for garden season and then I will hardly ever be inside.

I know a lot of people like it, but I've never really cared about the "foodie" aspect of the videos. I just love seeing Japanese culture in "everyday" type situations and feeling like I'm hanging out with Martina. Some of my favorite things are when she just finds cool flowers while walking /biking down a random path. Whatever the videos end up being about I'm sure will be great!
