POV: If he was a dagger then she was his blade.
He watched her, wielding her sword like an instrument, playing a song of enchantment for all those who heard it. Her movements were like a dance, her eyes were like a fire, she brought the highs and lows that came with a faerie revel. She looked over at him with roses of blood flecked across her face.
"Sure, make me do all the work." She rolled her eyes and shook her head. He swallowed and followed her towards the throne where the king was cowering. She waited for him to move forward. He moved forward and went up to the king.
"Why are you doing this?! All to be king?!" He shouted, unarmed and nowhere to go. The satisfaction of a plan coming together beat any feeling in the world. Well, almost any feeling.
"I wouldn't say that's my only reason." He laughed to himself and the king started to move back. He grabbed his collar and lifted his ear to his mouth. "The truth is I'm just trying to impress a girl. I figured the kingdom was a good place to start."
The king looked up at him with horror.
"You're mad."
"Madly in love. That's my only sin."
And murder. And arson. And treason. kidnapping, breaking and entering, theft, grievous bodily harm; the list went on.
He failed to mention those.
He laugh at his inner dialogue, then ran his blade through the king's heart. He pulled out his sword and tossed him to the side. He looked up at the two thrones that sat above the large marble room. He turned back to her and held out his hand. She smiled and took it. He put his hand on her waist and pulled her to him.
"What do you say? Rule the kingdom with me?" A smile sliced from her lips into his lungs, hitching his breath as she smiled up at him.
"You sure do know what a girl wants to hear."
He'd burn down the world to see her smile like that again.
And she knew it.
He loved it.

she takes notice of his hair threatening to poke one of his eyes. heâs trying to not twitch at the tickly feeling on his eyelids.
âcan you come closer?â the boy doesnât hesitate, he leans his body closer to hers. the girl just looks at him for a few seconds taking in his beautiful eye shape and pretty lips. the boyâs breath hitches probably because heâs a little bit uncomfortable with the silence.
the girl drawls her hand in his hair. pulling certain pieces to the side so they stay out of his eyes.
sheâd sacrifice the whole world to save him.

"I never would have thought..." I said.
"Never would have thought of what?" He asked with his curious smile. I loved his curious smile.
"I never would have thought there would be something I would want more than revenge." I said hesitantly peering into his deep brown eyes.
"And what is that?" he said, turning away to prepare his equipment for the invasion at The Alcazar.
"You" I said in a smirk.
He froze, then turned towards me. Tongue-tied, he stared at me for what seemed like eternity.
"I'm begging." I felt an emotion I never thought I would have to deal with. Desperate.
I walked towards him, tired of waiting. He didn't back away which was all I needed. I strained upward and landed my lips on his.
My head went blank and I swear I felt as if I was floating. He stopped and smiled at me.
"I'll follow you to the world's end." He said, finally.
"Good, cause I'm counting on it." I answered combing his light brown hair with my fingers.
He smiled the smile I loved.

POV: (tw; mention of bl0od & w0unds)
âI donât need your help, pretty-boy,â I force through clenched teeth as pain barrels through me. He doesnât listen and snatches the first-aid kit from my hands with a little quirk of his lips. I attempt to lunge and take back the red box but agony tears through me and I stop short, slumping back into my chair with a groan.
âReally?â he says, his voice lilting with mockery. I scowl at him as he kneels in front of me, trying to ignore the strange flutter in my heart at the sight of him at my feet. I focus on the pain instead, the blood seeping through the white fabric of my shirt, staining it a dark, scarlet red. âAs your sidekick, itâs my job to help you.â
âArenât you such a gentleman?â
He rolls his eyes. âAnd if I donât help you, youâre going to die,â he adds. His voice is calm but I notice the trembling of his hands as he fumbles with the clasps of the box.
âNervous, pretty-boy?â I ask as he finally flips open the lid and takes out a little glass bottle of yellowish liquid. The room spins for a moment but I blink away the dizziness.
âNo, I just donât want my boss to die.â He opens the lid of the bottle and grabs a cloth, pouring half the liquid onto the stainless fabric. âWhy do you keep calling me that?â
âWhat?â
âYou know what.â
âPretty-boy?â I say with a smirk and he nods, keeping his gaze averted as he returns the bottle to the box. âBecause youâre pretty⌠and I like how flustered it makes you.â
He whips his head up, his green eyes flashing. They take me by surprise, his sudden gaze and I feel a ridiculous, overwhelming urge to tuck the strand of hazel-coloured hair that brushes his brow away from his face. Fortunately, my self-restraint is rather good.
A blush crawls up his face and he returns his gaze to the box, unwrapping a roll of bandage in preparation.
âIâm going to need you to lift up your shirt,â he mumbles, so quiet that I can barely hear him. Though my heart pounds, my smirk widens and I do so, lifting the blood-sodden fabric up so my stomach and ribs are exposed, the wound with them.
A small gasp escapes his lips as he examines the ugly injury, the torn skin and flesh. âIâm surprised youâre not passed out by now,â he says. Ironically, at his words, another wave of dizziness washes over me but I do my best to hide it; no point in worrying him further. Slowly, achingly carefully, he lifts the rag soaked in liquid and gently dabs at the delicate skin on the outside of the wound. I canât help but hiss with pain and he flinches, as though the sound hurts him.
âSorry,â he says on an exhale of breath that tickles my skin.
âIâve felt worse,â I mutter, trying to keep my expression passive. His gentle fingers brush my skin and the feeling of that contact sends a strange thrill through my body that Iâve never quite felt before. Itâs not the same threat that comes with a dangerous job, a vengeful kill, but something different. Something, somehow, better. My breath hitches involuntarily and his hands freeze, one with the rag still gripped in his fist and the other hovering over my skin.
He looks up and, as the moonlight catches on the delicate features of his face, the high cheekbones, I realise that pretty is an understatement. His throat bobs and he quickly retracts his hands. I realise that Iâm gaping stupidly like a fish and hastily attempt to lapse into that form of easy, loping charm.
âI donât bite, you know,â I drawl and he shakes his head, setting down the rag now drenched in blood.
âHow did this even happen?â he asks, unraveling a snowy white bandage.
âI got in a fight, killed the guy but he got a swipe to my ribs.â I shrug and wince as the movement pulls at the injury. âNothing I canât handle.â
âYou keep saying that but youâre practically swaying in your chair,â he says. âMaybe you should lie down.â
âI donât, âlie downâ,â I laugh, even as the room spins around me. âItâs a waste of time, unless itâs for the bare minimum hours of sleep I need to function.â
âYouâre ridiculous,â he sighs.
âBut you love me.â I grin.
He just shakes his head again. Some part of me is grateful, but the bigger part of me wishes heâd said yes.
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed <3

He snaked his arm around her waist, pulling her in closer to his chest. âDiscrete,â he whispered to her ears, reminding her of the enemy right standing in front of them. Little did he know, acting as her date, with his little hugs here and there made her feel some kind of way. The enemy that day was one they had worked hard to track down and neither could bear to risk anything. Honestly, who would. The price was 10 million USD. As they walked across the ballroom with his hand resting on her waist, no one would believe they were acting the whole night. A loving married couple? A museum auction? It was all to catch the businesses the enemy had been engaging in. As the enemy walked past, she turned around, pushing her crime partner against the wall, her face an inch away from his. Staring into her brown orbs, he couldnât help but increase his heart rate. The way her hair swept off the shoulders tonight. Her perfume which left him mesmerised simply made it difficult for him to focus on the task for the night. It definitely wasnât the first time working together, nor would it be the last. There was never one without the other. Pressing her luscious lips against his cheek, she froze for a split second before pulling away. âHe was looking.â She shrugged her shoulders, facing her back against her partner for the night. Her cheeks were tinted with shades of pink by now. They both longed for each other. But what could both of them do? Arenât the bad ones supposed to have bad endings?

My attempt at a POV
(Sorry it is kinda long)
"Leonora" his arm out in waiting.I locked mine with his as we walked about the room. I took the last sip of champagne and placed the glass on the tray the waiter was holding as he passed. Timed perfectly. Every move I made had to be timed perfectly.
"Alessio, you know the plan" I responded, meeting his hazel eyes for minute. "Of course I do, my love" he replied smirking. That smirk was all too mischievous. He was completely aware of what he said.
I rolled my eyes, letting go of Lessios arm and directing my attention to the prince who now met my gaze. He smiled, making his way to the dance floor. "Time to show case the flower, Lessio" I said. He smiled, stretching out a hand to jesture a dance. I placed mine in his as we made our way onto the dance floor.
My Target was the prince but as we swayed, Lessio grabbed my attention. I knew he was a good dancer , I trained him myself but for some reason tonight he seemed to have much more grace. His hand on the small of my back and the other locked with mine. I spun out, the picture of elegance and he pulled me in with the same energy. I was almost mesmerized by him when he dipped me, his hand on the back of my tigh,my tigh on his hip. Our chests touching. I was breathless.
Lessio was my accomplice and he knew the most important thing to me was me. My success was all that mattered to me. It was the only reason I was who I was. I was determined to be the best of the worst. However he had a certain charm and it wasn't until tonight that had the time to admire him.His looks so angelic, the perfect contrast for his wicked mind. That smirk alone was enough to drive me mad. That smirk that he was painted on his face at that very moment.
He caught on to my thoughts. "Like the view, love? " his smirk bigger than ever. I smiled back as he brought me back up, our chest still touching. "Don't flatter yourself, sweetie".The song had ended but here we were, still chest to chest.
What was I doing? The Target. I walked away from Lessio without another thought and didn't even notice that the crowd had been applauding, even the prince. At least I could get back to my plan.
Naturally the prince fell right in to my trap. Men so predictable . I mean I predicted that Lessio would fall for me. I just never thought I would fall too. The prince and I danced, my red dress swaying as I did. The prince was handsome but nothing compared to Lessio.
That man had his finger around my heart but I made sure he would never know it because I was the most important thing to me. And he knew it too. But it wouldnt hurt to have a little fun

Amazing playlist!! <33
I love these kinds of villain playlists, they always inspire me to keep writing my story (oops)- Small POV story thing- 'cause why notttt (It's not great, ikik)
You leaned on the railing of the balcony of your hotel room, looking out into the buzzing city below as you took a puff of your cigarette, breathing the toxic fume into the cold air of the night.
The city was serene, quiet and peaceful; an unusual occurrence. And it was quite the sight to behold. Such a beautifully corrupted city soon to burn to the ground as it should. Bringing down those damn heroes with it. And no one would even see it coming...
The very thought of it brought a smile to your face.
A voice interrupted your night-dreaming, a quiet, hesitant âheyâ causing you to glance back, finding your sidekick standing in front of the glass door leading into the room.
Speak of beautifully corrupted thingsâŚ
His dark hair was forcibly gelled back and away from his face, forcing his usually stubborn hair to remain in place for once, though it wouldnât last much longer. He still wore the suit from the party earlier; unlike you who actually bothered to change into something far more comfortable, but it suited him. Quite the sight for sore eyes.
You turned to face him, leaning back against the railing of the balcony, a slight sly smile settled on your lips as you spoke softly. âWonât you join meâŚ?â You invited him over with a gentle gesture, watching him as he made his way over, coming to a stop beside you and looking out into the city ahead, his hands resting on the cold railing.
His eyes shifted from the night, looking at you for just a moment only to look away again to hide the red of his face when he saw you watching. âYou uh, you wanted to see me?â he mumbled out, tapping his fingers impatiently on the metal as he waited for your response.
âYes, I did,â you nodded. âI wanted to compliment you on your work the other nightâ you shrugged, bringing the cigar up to your lips again and exhaling the smoke onto his face when he turned to look at you; snickering to yourself at the face he made
He remained quiet for a moment before shaking his head slowly, returning his gaze to his hands. âIt was nothing reallyâ
âNo, it really was good work.â You placed your hand gently on his shoulder, the gesture causing him to look back at you, his eyes locking on yours as you continued. âIâd like to reward youâŚâ
His breath hitched, his gaze shifting from your hand back to your face as he scanned your every move, a glint of hesitant curiosity in his eyes when he whispered back âI- I just did what I had to- thereâs no need for-â
"But I want toâŚ~â You interrupted him before he could finish, taking a step closer to him until there was barely any space between you. You brushed your hand lightly over his warm cheek, watching him lean into your touch, wanting more of it. âIf youâll let meâŚâ

there was no way she was going to get out of there alive. " grab a helmet" he hissed, she looked at him " what?" she asked stupidly. " grab a goddam helmet" he said once more. she quickly grabbed a helmet and ran over to him. there were guards everywhere, they both started to run as fast they could. sharp left and they were outside finally. " come on! we don't have much time!"
he shouted as he took her empty hand and led her to a motorcycle. he took out the keys and got on the leather seat. they both put their helmets on, there were more guards come out. who was this guy? they most wanted in Europe. " you know how to ride?" she asked. " no shit, get on" he said. she quickly got on and the engine got started. " hold it right there" the guy said pulling out his gun pointing at them.
" and if we don't?" he asked, his hands got tighter on the handles. " one of you is going to die" the man hissed. " wrong no one is going to die," he said then suddenly he drove into the man no hesitation. she grabs onto his waist as he drove faster than ever. the wind was on blowing out on them and there was no telling where they were going but there was one thing for sure
" They will never catch me, little girl, mark my words," he said taking a sharp left.
" What makes you think so?" she challenged him.
" I know so, we have a long ride," he said looking back. three other motorcycles were chasing them. suddenly gunshots were being fired. BANG, POW. " take the gun out of my pocket!" he shouted. she took it out of his pocket, and cocked it. she shot as best as she could. her eyes darted for some way to slow them down. she aimed the gun and shot. two of them were down. one left.
" shit am out!" she yelled as she tried to cock it.
" OK, we're going to lose this one," he said. then he went faster than anyone would ever dare. left rights and loops were being made.
they came up a bridge, it was coming up for the boats.
" ok hold on, this is going to be hard!" he yelled.
" no way! in hell are we going to make it !" she said as her grip got tighter on his waist.
" STOP!" She screamed, her heart was beating out of her chest.
" thank me later love," he said as he was secretly smirking under his helmet. they were at the edge of the bridge. suddenly the motorcycle was in the air crossing over.
this is the part where she thought that it was over. BANG! they somehow made it alive . " how?" she muttered out-breath.
" this the part where you thank me," he said, she took off her helmet and threw it off as it landed somewhere, she didn't really care.
" Thanks, I guess," she said. the wind blew through her hair.
" what can I say am a master," he said taking her hand. "were not done running yet,'
" I don't mind that" she girned.
like that they both ran through the night.
