FALLING ASLEEP FASTER
1. Activity during the day. (Make sure to stay active during the day, and when you wake up, immediately start doing things. You need to spike your heart rate, like go on a walk, recommend in the first two hours when you wake up.)
2. No caffeine after 12:00, no food after 6 or 7 PM, and no screens after 8 PM. (You're going to have more deep sleep)
3. When you finally get into bed, lay down, and don't count sheep or count breath. Just think about nothing, and focus on feeling and relaxing muscles. Try to relax your mind. (It just keeps your brain active when you count. It's a bit like meditation, and scan through your body. How relaxed is your neck/jawline? Tense all your muscles in your body, then just relax and it helps a lot.)

Visualising each muscle relaxing has always been a good one for me. The idea that the muscle is powering down. People have to find what works for them but for me it’s that. Starting from toe to forehead. Usually I’m asleep by the time I get to my stomach.
I was surprised how well binaural beats work but I don’t want to use it too much as I don’t want to develop tinnitus. So I only use it if there is a noise that I cannot stop focusing on.
