Rising Dawn is the final track to my album Beauty In The Darkness. To complete the story within the album, I wanted the final song to emerge from the darkness of mental suffering, and allow hope and light to flood in. Despite the safety and security of the disorder, we can embrace a new dawn and forge a new direction on the road to recovery.

Also, I was a 90s kid who grew up making radio shows and playlists on cassette tapes, and I always hoped that someday I would make real music and release an album. There's something so nostalgic about reaching the end of a tape, and it felt like a natural end to a project I'd been working on for two years.
