Fading Light is the intro track to my Beauty In The Darkness album. I really wanted to give the whole album a structure and a story - as the daylight fades, the insecurities emerge and the disorder tightens its grip. I've designed this track to contrast starkly with the next track (Shadow Dancer), to imitate the false sense of security the eating disorder lulls you into, before reality hits and the suffering turns into something beautiful but sinister in the shadow of the night.
