Hey again! So I felt like this song was super necessary for me to write, and it has a special place in my heart, since it honestly became much more personal and raw than I had anticipated. I wrote this song because I felt that I was beating myself up over fake people that would ghost out of my life, especially after I thought that they would stay. Although its based off multiple experiences, I specifically focused on two friends that bullied me out of our friendship, would constantly put me down, and eventually became ghosts in my life. However, this song isn't to vent out feelings or to just mope in sad feelings; I really also wanted to reflect the importance of loving yourself and becoming a stronger and better person without fake people. I kept on rewriting and rewriting this song, only to come back to the first original draft that I wrote, which became the "you've been a ghost" chorus line.
