My wife from India is visiting my home in New Zealand, but does she like it here? Why won't she move here? And how different is it from India? @ManishaMalikIndia explains all this while we go on a road trip from Auckland to Palmerston North via Taupo.

The hot springs we visited are the Waikite Valley Thermal Pools goo.gl/maps/vr6rrSwJF6v8QvVe7?entry=yt.

If you want to try that venison and mushroom pie, it's the supreme pie awards winner at Taupo's Fast & Fresh Bakery Cafe goo.gl/maps/ewFi7S8MJR1w9N7E7?entry=yt.

The final spot in the vlog is the stunning Castlepoint Lighthouse goo.gl/maps/dYnBpf7PrYLb5zeJ8?entry=yt.

For introverts like me, I would love to live in NZ. The calm and peaceful environment is just heaven. As an Indian, I think Indian society is very extroverted (that’s not a bad thing though).

As far as I’m concerned, New Zealand is Middle Earth for me. Always been a dream to visit this absolutely beautiful country!

Watching this vlog now I actually realised why it's so hard for foreigners to adjust to India, a totally different environment...but I like this man,i like how he adjusted in both countries and the love for his indian wife😁❤️

23 minutes on youtube spent wisely.. positivity and beautiful vibes. I really appreciate your humble nature as a couple. You guys have normalised showing 2 people in love and yet no PDA/cooing/etc. This is also love ❤️❤️❤️

I live in a country very similar to NZ, Norway. What I miss the most after coming home after visiting in-laws in Punjab is exactly the pulsating life that India is full of. It is so quiet and it's almost dead in comparison here. It is sometimes so bad that we go into a mini-depression after spending a couple of months in India. As I always have said, India's greatest asset is it's people, and the life and friendliness of most Indians. Missing India......

Absolutely loved the line from Manisha - "You will get bored if you don't have a purpose to live here". People in jobs (like myself) don't find it hard to live in NZ but parents visiting from India surely do after the initial week or two.

Manisha is such a nice person, does her condition cause her any pain,I hope not. Your travels and stories are exceptional,I never get bored, and I've followed you throughout the good and bad times. Karl, I wish you and your wife a very merry Xmas

It is a very peaceful and small country your wife seems to like some aspects of it but every once in awhile we all miss home because that's where the heart is

The country looks so clean, unbelievable! I wonder when and if ever my country is gonna look like this. It’s really distressing, disappointing and heavy to accept that I might never be to a place as clean as this in my entire life!

I was lucky enough to live and work in India in 1983-4. I have never forgotten it, I still have dreams about it, and even as as Kiwi I feel homesick for the subcontinent (and for Japan too, having lived there for a number of years also). Natural social connections and social agreeableness are not the same in New Zealand as it is in many other parts of the world.

Welcome to NZ!! I can relate to what your wife said about sleeping... when I first came to nz I had trouble sleeping too lol.. so quiet that I could hear my stomach growling, rumbling & digesting all the food at night. I've been here for 10 years now I have trouble sleeping when I go back home to India because of all the noises and I find it so hard to ignore.

Karl, you are a true Indophile in every sense of the word. Your videos are awesome and so is your beautiful wife, Manisha and your family back in New Delhi. Can't wait to see Manisha's reaction to the beautiful sights of New Zealand! Will stay up late to watch this one! Enjoy your visit and have fun!
