"Vitiligo is just a beautiful painting on skin" - Man! huge respect. Your perception is so unique and praise-worthy. People like you who can see beauty and positivity even in serious matters set an example for the world. Also, it inspires many girls or people in general to accept themselves for who they are and believe that they are capable of being loved. It clearly states that people who gonna love you will love you despite your flaws.

Wow. I'm 55, born in South Delhi, emigrated to Canada with my parents when I was 8, married a great woman from Chennai, and have spent the last 30 years in the U.S. I started watching some of Karl's videos because of the Delhi connection, but this video evoked an emotional response in me like no other. Like most educated Indian girls (including my wife), Manisha is confident and expressive. But this video makes it clear that Manisha and Karl are also so very genuine. May God bless them both for sharing this story and educating so many people using this platform.

Her story really touched my heart. I have seen my mother with vitiligo since I was a kid, so many experiences of yours are relatable. people calling names, food restrictions, weird magic tricks etc. I can see it took a lot of toll on her mental health. My father was very supportive thankfully! Way to go girl!!

Great applause to you that you accepted yourself as you are. I started having grey hair at a very early age, like when I was 14 - 15 by age of 16 almost 25 percent of my hair were grey and I was very cautious about it. I started coloring my hair in college days to hide them. People use to make fun of me for it very few (to be honest) but almost everyone used to ask me about it which made me very conscious. Also after a time I felt very irritating. I started wearing cap etc etc. I lost my confidence, and used to be in stress all the time. Then one fine day I decided to accept it, I accepted myself the way I am and since then I never colored my hair (I did once but not to cover my grey hair but for a cosplay). Accepting myself helped me gain back my confidence. I know my problem is nowhere near to people having Vitiligo. Infact it was easier for me to accept myself because I knew after certain age everyone is going to have grey hair so why worry that's what I told myself. But incase of Vitiligo its completely different, even though there is nothing wrong with the person, people often bully such people or call names. But I understand one thing the day you accept yourself for what you are and be comfortable and happy about your own body, other's opinion or word don't matter.

Super Useful Interview. It is a greatest interview than any other regular TV interviews. You asked genuine questions and she gave straight forward answers. It is really useful for many people who are suffering from skin diseases, particularly women. Recently i started watching your channel. After watching one or two videos I subscribed it, because you are presenting videos with super clarity of opinions and reactions. I can say you got a wonderful wife. I can say both of you will create wonders in this channel by presenting real world with good insights. Thank you very much for enlightening me and the world. My best wishes to your family and to your father in law's family.

Update (March 2021): Manisha has been featured on the cover of Hindustan Time's Brunch twitter.com/iamkarlrock/status/1368452980526125057… Update (June 2020): Reading through new comments today and they fill me with so much happiness 🙏 Some people have asked if she's done any treatment since, and the answer is of course no. In my more recent videos you are seeing the natural changing of her skin. Thank you all 🙏 ❤️ Manu, she rocked it 👏🏻 #vitiligorocks 9:00 "My advice is, nobody will take a stand for you until you take a stand for yourself. So next time they tell you, "You can't have a normal life because you have Vitiligo" just tell them, "You're wrong! You're lying. I'll show you, and I'll prove it! I'll have a job, I'll lead a normal life like any other person. And just stop talking bullsh*t." Once you take a stand on your own, others will follow." Jai
