Nashville's Honky Tonk Highway is bustling like India. The street is lined with live music bars, eateries, and chock-a-block with people out for a good time. Have you seen another street like this in the world?

The Honky Tonk Highway houses some of the most famous bars in the U.S. Many big stars got their big breaks in this district, and live music can still be found 7 days a week.

This is the heart of the American country music scene. Where the legends like Johnny Cash Show, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Graham Nash, and Willie Nelson performed once upon a time.

First, I take you along the honky tonk highway, then to live country music bars Redneck Riviera and Kid Rock's bar "Big Honky Tonk", and we end by eating Tennessee's famous barbeque at Jack's Bar-B-Que.

Never thought I'd see you in the US. As a New Yorker that recently went to Kentucky, I can say that the southern hospitality is real. People down there were all around much nicer. People up here in NY on average tend to be cold, distant, and always in a hurry. We aren't the most kind, welcoming people, but when someone becomes our friend, we are very loyal. There are so many different cultures here in the US. If you come to Western New York, you have absolutely got to try our chicken wings. They are the best.

What a totally crazy scene that is in Nashville. I'm an American and have driven through Tennessee but never stopped long enough to get real impressions. Took a New Zealander who lives in India to show me these things.

As an Indian-American raised in New England (northeast U.S.), we were always led to believe that our part of the world was the grandest in all of the universe. I've travelled ad enjoyed many places in the world including Memphis, New Orleans and a few other places in the South. There are a lot of similarities between the South and India. New England has a more obvious connection with Britain. When all is said and done, being a New Englander is the the greatest blessing in the universe.

Thank you for being respectful when talking about my country and our people, most foreigners just bash America when they never even been there yet & most of the time once they visit they change their tune real fast. God Bless 🙏

Karl, it is about time a well known travel YouTuber does a showcase of middle America. This warms my heart to see you enjoying country music, and everyone receiving you so kindly. This is the side of our country you don’t see when global media networks demonize the American nation. Awesome piece of media here.

When he said the bbq plate didn’t look appetizing 😂 shit looked amazing to me. Guess Karl’s just used to the colorful Indian food that shit is like art. We aren’t as worried about presentation lol

I live in the US. It’s nice to see it through some else’s eyes. I haven’t left Colorado, but once since the lockdown. So, YouTube is my travel 😂

I'm from a small Appalachian town and the people are INSANELY warm and welcoming for the most part. I always say you can make an old friend after a 5 minute street conversation.

I was born in Pakistan, raised in several states in the US as my parents were physicians and we moved a lot during their residency training. I lived in Virginia, New York, Texas, Louisiana, and then did my own medical training in Tennessee. Tennessee has to be one of the prettiest states I've seen next to Colorado. I think your channel is exactly what we need: the world needs to see more of the actual world, not the violence and chaos that is attractive for journalism. Most people are good people, and you can see the vivid similarities between all cultures throughout all of your videos.
