In India, spicy doesnt mean hot, it means theres a big blend of spices. If you want "hot" Spicy food, visit Rajasthan, West Bengal or Assam. Generally Eastern India likes red hot spicy food. In Southern India you wont find too many hot dishes. But South uses spices which are very rare and expensive which enhances the taste and gives out amazing aroma.

Spicy (flavorful) vs. Spicy (hot) are two different things. When I get Indian food, I know it'll be flavorful. As for heat, I tell food vendors, "Don't make it फ़िरंगी spicy." There is a balance. Like when you get Chinese food, "麻辣."

I always say to my German friends that spicy and hot are 2 different things. When you say spicy food in India, it might not be hot but flavourful with optimum amount of spices to add to the flavour. If you want hot, ask for more teekha (hot in hindi), but honestly I can't handle teekha myself 😅 Btw, your videos are awesome, wish you a nice time in India. If you are into smoked food, go for different tandoori/kebab dishes on offer. We have different fusion foods as well: Indo-Chinese, our own variations of pizza and pasta, sizzlers, dumplings like momos etc.

You guys need to understand spicy doesn't mean hot 🥵. Here spicy means mixture of many spices...not just black pepper and salt 😂😂

You CAN have your food with your left hand if you're left handed.. there's no problem bcz having food with right hand just means that you only have to use one hand while eating and the other should be clean enough to serve..most of the people are right handed that's why it's said to use that..but you can use any hand as per your convenience😊❤

Places to eat at in Mumbai: 1. Elco Pani puri - (area - Bandra west in Mumbai) - One of the best Pani puris in town. Very clean & hygienic. They use bottled mineral water to make these. So very safe to eat Pani Puris at this place. 2. Sardar Pav Bhaaji - (area - Tardeo in Mumbai) - The best and the most buttery Paav Bhaaji on Planet Earth. 3. Bade Miyan - Late night place - is open till 3 am or so (area - near Taj hotel & the Gate way of India in Mumbai) A late night place, patrons eat in their cars, but has a seating area as well. Famous for their wraps, Tikkas, Tandooris & barbecued stuff. 4. Leopold Cafe (area - Colaba causeway in Mumbai) - Nice beer, barbecues, nice desserts. 5. Pancham Puriwala - (area - fort in Mumbai) - 5 types of puris(bread), savory dishes & desserts. 6. Persian Darbar - (area - Bandra west in Mumbai) Famous for their Raan Biryani. Delicious Mughlai cuisine. You'll love it. 7. Mahesh Lunch home - (area - Juhu Tara road in Mumbai) Heaven for Sea food lovers. Very clean & hygienic and you can get the most iconic sea food dishes here. 8. Mini Punjab's Lake side - (area Powai in Mumbai) Need to call and book a thaali(platter) in advance. Famous for its Dara Singh Thaali - available in both veg & non-veg versions. A must try. 9. Britannia & co. restaurant - (area - Ballard estate, Fort in Mumbai) Famous for its Irani / Parsi cuisine. Awesome Desserts & Sodas. 10. Anand Stall - (Vile Parle west in Mumbai) A fast food joint famous for its awesome Vada Paav, Sandwiches & Dosas. 11. Mohammed Ali road - (Area - CST - 6 pm onwards till late night) The whole street is filled with street vendors who sell various non-vegetarian stuff and some vegetarian too. Plus, there are some really nice restaurants on the same street. Try the famous dessert that you get only on this street in a sweet shop. The dessert is called Aflatoon.

That walk you guys had reminds me of the walks me and my family used to have our walks in Berlin during our Eurooean holiday in November 2015. Walking there is a dream in comparison to Bombay , we loved walking there and preferred walking to taking a can , bus or boarding the Berlin Metro.

Agree with the full of spice vs hot chili spice. My family can have a stomach reaction from 'full of spice' dishes. It's like their system is not used to so much spice per ounce. I've never felt that but I have been out with relatives who didn't feel so good after Indian food. I feel elated afterward because it is so flavorful. Yum.
