In this video, we are going around the streets of Mumbai, to truly test our stomachs, and taste some local popular street foods! We’ve had a lot of people not from India and from India warning us to be very careful of Indian street food. Today, we are sticking to the less touristy area around the Mumbai Suburban District to taste the food and test our stomachs like some of the locals here in Mumbai. no matter what country you go, the first few days, the stomach usually is upset. Whenever i travel to USA, the first three days my stomach is always upset. This is usually because of water, the treatment of water differs a bit in pretty much all countries in the world. So if you don't want horrendous stomach problems, as soon as you get to a new place, drink the local drinking water to get your stomach used to the water there.

It always amazes when they see oil film on top of India food they say oily but when they have pizza, its usually drenched in oil since cheese literally has like 26-30% fat but no complaints about oil

If you're in India, please consider avoiding the commonly visited, stereotypical destinations like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai. Honking is the reason people are not hitting each other whenever there are vehicles with pedestrians walking on the road,on proper highways flyways ,its not that common and people just move along quietly,on crowded streets, its a way of saying 'be careful I am coming in' as not all roads have signs in India.

Way too many travel romantics in the comments, and not enough travel realists.

A ton of ridiculously sensitive people in the comments over a relatively innocuous title. No country in the world is perfect. It's a fact that some Indian street food vendors have been caught red-handed for poor hygiene. That doesn't mean the whole country, but it's enough that it's noteworthy and one should exercise caution when trying the street food there.

Really surprised by the amount of cheese! I'm only familiar with American-Indian take-out, which I rarely get anyway and can't think of any cheese in those dishes. Great content 👍

For anyone having a problem with the title, please keep in mind that some parts of the world struggle with sanitation more than others. That is not a commentary on the worth or value of the people there, it's a commentary on their government which doesn't provide safe living conditions. Travel guides also warn about this as well.

Fully clothed women in long black robes wadingand swimming in the sea in Tunisia, that was a culture shock for me. Then I got kicked out of the resort pool cuz I had a tshirt on (I was too lazy to put sunscreen on) - doh!

15:17 Your expression said it all. Paan may not appeal to most foreigners trying it for the first time. The taste is very intense / strong. The title of the video could have been more subtle. Street food being unhygienic in India? Yes, partly true. Foreigners who come to India for the first time and eat spicy food from street food vendors and restaurants experience stomach upsets because the balance of the gut flora gets disturbed and needs time to get used to the new dishes. If you have stayed long enough in India, you will know exactly what I mean. While you’re at it, might as well boost your immunity further. 😉
