This was great! Loved the convo and it's super interesting that many long-time YouTubers have a background in sports whether in college or high school and that sort of being the launching pad. Sometimes you need a trailblazer to open the door for others and glad Dee is finally getting his flowers for what he did!

One of my favorite parts about this channel is how diverse the guests are and how many new people you turn me onto. I would've never come across Dee in my life ever. I don't normally consume sports content, but his story is so inspiring and beneficial to be aware of for students across the world as well as people who just need a reminder to believe in themselves and trust their gut with their choices. Thanks as always to everyone at Colin & Samir for this episode ❤

This interview was equal parts, fascinating, and inspiring. The thing that I respect about him the most is that he had to make a hard choice and pursue something that to this day I still don’t quite understand. Yes, I have finally embraced my aviation YouTuber status. But it still feels strange to me since my orientation was steeped in traditional institutional pursuits. So now, even though it still feels strange to me to call myself a YouTuber, I didn’t have to make the hard choice and wear the title in a way that this young man had to. Absolutely amazing! He does his family proud.
