Great interview! Really resonated with doing youtube ... "you need to have a long period of time with nothing to lose, and nothing to gain." It's a very unique circumstance that's not very realistic for most, but almost a requirement doing something for years without monetary gain

I’m totally one of those early readers who just followed him to YouTube. There was such a sense of genuine happiness I felt when he bought his Carrera GT. This was an interesting interview to see his insight into how things got started and where he thinks things are going.

I met Doug in person at Cars n Coffee in Rancho Sante Fe, he was just hanging out by himself photographing some esoteric old British car. He was super nice, spoke with me for about 30 min. He's the real deal, an absolute car enthusiast and genuine dude!
