I loved her in NXT she shouldâve won the NXT Womenâs Championship but that sadly didnât happen. Now on the main roster sheâs basically a sidekick for Indi Hartwell.

Yeah, I feel like nobody ever really talks about her. Saw her going against guys like Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano in Indie wrestling. Really impressive in NXT as well. It's really criminal that she legitimately always got an L against Io Shirai (now Io Sky). No hate for Io really but the fact that Triple H booked her to lose in front of her hometown crowd back in 2019. Never won a title, and now basically a nobody.
Edit: People are suggesting AEW but isn't the women's division treated even poorly in AEW right now? lol

I donât know whatâs going on with WWEâs dreaded booking of the Womenâs Division, but Candice LaRae shouldâve been a huge deal when she came back and thenâŠnothing. I know the reason why Candice and Indi Hartwell not on TV is because Vince hates The Way. He wasnât a fan of the faction on NXT during Black and Gold.

It should be noted that Candice LeRae has been "semi-retired" for quite a while now. She's happily married, has a son, and is pushing 40 and pretty banged up. She's a veteran who can put on a good match and show the kids the ropes, but not someone you can actively push or invest a lot of money into. She hasn't wrestled a full schedule in five years, and from the behind the scenes videos/interviews, she seems perfectly content with her place in the company. She just celebrated twenty years of wrestling, and gets to spend plenty of time with her husband, son, and visit Disney World whenever they want. The story of Candice LeRae in WWE is absolutely NOT a downfall story.

One of the underutilized talents in the Womenâs Division. Sheâs really great. I got to know of her since her indie days and she was brutal and tough as hell. She was taking bumps like one of the guys. An easily Womenâs Champion material but WWE never gave her a chance. Itâs not too late though, she could be in the title picture against Rhea then if she ever wins it, she could defend it and have a banger matches with other underutilized, talented women like Emma, Nikki Cross, Piper Niven, Zelina Vega, Shotzi, Asuka and others.

I didn't understand why WWE and NXT didn't have Candice defeat Io Shirai, when she was the NXT Women's Champion.
At that time, Candice LaRae was a hot heel when she feuded with Iyo.

She was on the verge of getting pushed on the main roster until Vince bullied his way back especially into creative.
Triple H was slowly putting The Way back together but Vince had no intention of using them.
Candice and Hartwell are definitely needed assets to the tag division of which should have been built around Rousey and Shayna.

Itâs surprising how poorly Triple H has booked the division overall. Rhea Ripley never defends her title, because WWE has done a TERRIBLE job building up credible challenges.
Candice is someone who could make a good challenger IF they made the effort to build her up.

Normally your brutal downfall videos are way overblown and not true. However on this occasion I'll agree as candice should be doing way way more. I can see her and indi winning or competing for the tag titles now they are probably being vacated. But would definitely like to see more

The obvious solution it to move The Way to SmackDown and have them reunite with Austin Theory. Or have Ciampa reunite with Gargano and Candice be their manager until they decide to give Rhea Ripley a challenger for her Women's World Championship than Candice LeRae can step up and do that for a while.
