As a mom, I just want to say that I am so sorry to any child that has had to grow up like this. If you are reading this, and you have parents like this, I am so sorry. Parents are supposed to be a safe place for children. I wish that I could take every child in that needs it. Big mama hug, and lots of prayers.

Moms: Belittle you, mock you, invalidate your emotions, play the victim when you criticize her, make any problem about her, yell at you, antagonize you, create a hostile environment for any sort of discussion to happen because you constantly feel like you're in a debate, having to justify every little thing you say or emotion you feel

Itās a guilt trip, trying to invalidate your feelings and concerns because narcissistic parents canāt bear having the fault being put on them so instead they put it on you. One time, my biological mother who is DEFINITELY a narcissist said, "Someone else gets all the credit, yet I get treated like shit". It's always about her. All the while, she's throwing objects at me, raising her fist to me, threatening to punch me in the face or throat, lying to me, gaslighting me, etc. She paints herself as the victim when in reality I was the actual victim.

My mother is a narcissist. She is jealous of me. And everything she says is negative 80% of the time. Even if you say something about something she did that's a fact she'll get mad and not want to hear her own actions. If she is in a bad mood she will take it out on you. She always hops in when me and my siblings are conversing. It's so sad. Like sometimes I don't understand why God let her be my parent.
