Speaking a bit slower is something I’ve been practicing and it has helped me a lot. For one, I enunciate better, I use less filler words, and my tonality has calmed down to sounded more confident. I admit though that I still find myself reverting back to speaking fast when I’m not paying attention.

5:00 you have it perfectly there, just choose how you want to speak with a reason behind it that makes you a simple to digest character and you'll be fine!

There was a time when I was actively correcting my posture the entire time, and people eventually told me that I walk around as if I were some royal or somehting. They didn't mean that I looked like a pompous pomper, but that I looked confident and stuff like that. It was so astonishing becuase most if not all of the other guys around me were walking/sitting around with their backs slightly bent, their shoulders dropped forward, etc.

About the brace for posture. The negative for braces is that the muscles no longer have to do the work to hold correct posture. You should have emphasized building up the muscles that hold correct posture. Reliance on the brace can lead to weakening the muscles that should become stronger. The second item--speaking. It is regional. Chris Hemsworth, so also most Aussies, speaks with "up speak." But Chris does have great posture!
