I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your drinks. How you decorate your home. Or party. The way you write your grocery list. The food you make. How your handwriting looks. And the way you feel for your soulmate.

Why couldnât I move to the next artwork? My gaze was fixed upon âthe summer evening at Skagenâ. My eyes caressed the smooth lines one more time but I still couldnât get myself to move.
I sensed movement next to me. without even turning my head, I realized that I wasnât alone anymore. There was someone next to me, admiring the same painting.
I believe half an hour has passed but we still stood there. At this point, it was starting to be more of a staring contest.
I wasnât going to leave first.
I couldnât stand anymore. My feet were sore and my eyes were becoming teary from staring for too long.
With no hesitation, I turned my head to face the stranger. He was already staring at me.
âI thought we were admiring the same piece of art...â i murmured, hoping he wouldnât hear it.
-sorry, he chuckled and looked at the artwork.
A split second later, his piercing gaze was back on me.
- The artwork I was admiring is by far more beautiful
I looked him in the eye. Something was familiar about him.
-have we met before?

"I'll find you again," she whispers, meeting my gaze, "in another life. Even if we wake up thousands of miles away. I promise I'll find you." I dip my head to rest on hers and we both stare up at her painting. My own face peers back at us, inspecting my love's paint covered hands intertwined with my own.
"When you do," I close my eyes, "don't forget to tell me."
The girl, immortalised in oil paint, looks so familiar it feels wrong that I don't know her name. The leather bench dips beside me and out of the corner of my eye I see a brown coat and fidgeting gloved fingers. I look over to the woman who appears to be admiring the same painting as me. She spares me a quick glance and smile before turning back to the painting.
"I didn't forget."

POV
You're walking down the sidewalk of a busy street in the lovely new town you recently moved to after a hard day at work. Despite the evening Sunshine pouring down from the heavens, Rain begins to fall heavily from the cotton candy tinted clouds. Wanting to escape the downpour, you glance around for a place to find shelter. The first building that catches your eye is that huge, new Art Gallery everyone in town has been talking about. You bolt through the doors and shake off the cold rain water. You are greeted by Idle chatter and soft Mozart music as you enter. You take in all the paintings that are reflecting the warm glow from the chandeliers above. A large life-like painting of the ocean reflecting an orangey-pink sky captures your attention. You stare at in awe, but your focus is shattered when you notice the figure beside you. You don't need shift your gaze from the painting to face him/her, because you already know who it is. "It looks an awful lot like where we first met, don't you think?"

when I had first gazed my eyes upon her it was like my life had decided to re-write its purpose. I had thought after all these years that we would never meet again; that somehow we were but flames that had gone out, but here we are.
The same devilishly sweet gloss that coated over her eyes that would seem like endless pools of enchantment never failed to capture me. I tried my hardest to look anywhere but her, afraid it was all dream.
The very same art piece we had once been admiring seemed to be lifeless and dull compared to her beauty. But alas as history has shown before I allowed myself to be captivated, re-igniting the very flames we had once had, burning as if they had never stopped.

POV:
Your eyes roam the huge art display, disregarding the many famous pieces. You didn't see the hype over them. Your eyes remained lifeless since you lost the other half of your soul. Sighing, you turn to leave. But wait. You catch a glimpse of a small piece in the corner of the room. It's intricate lines were alluring to your eyes and you couldn't help but study it further. You were lost in the intense colour and smooth strokes that you became startled when you felt a presence behind you.
"Of course it's you" she whispered into your ear. Your breath hitched in your throat as you turn to see her face, staring at you. She caresses the side of your face, studying your reaction. Your lips part, eager to let words slip off your tongue but you couldn't. You were so entranced by her beauty, so that you could only allow a single tear to slowly roll of the side of your face.
"I miss you," you whisper, reaching out in attempt to check if she was real and to hold on a little longer. However, your actions were meaningless, and she fades to dust.
"No," you whimper, voice cracking. That was it. Her goodbye. She was truly gone. At least you could sleep at night, knowing she would be watching over you.

You stood amongst thousands and thousands of art pieces. Some big, some small but each one told it's own story.
Take a few steps and you will see lovers enjoying a romantic moonlit night underneath the starry sky. Take a few more steps and you will see a woman painting in the comfort of her own home, soft sunlight beaming through the windows. Look just a little further and you will find a statue completely made of stone but the intricacy of the it make it seem as if the statue has been dressed in the finest of silks. Each piece is similar in a sense but completely different in origin.
One piece however, caught your eye.
It was a picture of a man and a woman, it seemed like it had been painted on their wedding day. Apart from the mesmerizing choice of colours, and the detailing, what drew you towards this particular painting was how the woman looked like you. Even the mole on the right side of your neck and the one on the left side of your collarbone had been drawn. It gave you a particular warm feeling.
You lost track of time and tore your eyes off the painting, though momentarily and realized that you weren't alone.
A young man took your breath away.
He was handsome but what intrigued you more was how he looked strikingly similar to the man in that painting.
However, he didn't seem to notice you staring.
It didn't take him long to look back at you and his eyes widened ever so slightly.
A silence fell upon both of you for a brief second; a fuzzy feeling growing in your stomach.
You both looked back to the painting
"It's a lovely painting" you said to him
"It sure is..." He replied
It was another moment of silence before he turned to you and asked
"Do I know you? You seem oddly familiar."
"I don't think so... but I feel the same way"
You tried to recall all the people you have met before but don't remember him; you thought while looking down at the ground, your eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly.
He chuckled a little bit and you looked up to see an ethereal human being; you felt your heart melting
He gazed at you, you noticed his honey coloured eyes, the soft browns and yellows creating a beautiful marbling in his eyes
"Wanna go grab lunch?" He asked, deep inside he was desperate for you to say yes but he didn't know why. You just attracted him.
"Sure" You flashed him a warm smile, and with a slight nod from him, you both turned to head down the stairs and to the door, your white skirt that was embroidered with daisies swayed a little as you went down the wooden stairs with this man who you are not sure where you met before,
perhaps, in another life.

Im glad to be out of my 5year long toxic relationship 6months ago. It made me breathe and think of myself more. I was happier and now im the happiest, being able to meet a man who would hold me dearly. In all honesty, everything was unplanned and very unexpected, which made me want to believe the saying "love comes unexpectedly". I am beyond happy and grateful to meet a man who values my life.
So I encourage you all to just focus on yourself and love will just come. Might not happen to everyone but I believe self-care is the most important thing. Do what makes you happy and never let someone else make u feel worthless. A relationship can come after you care for yourself â¤ď¸â¨
Virtually hugs everyone stay safe friends! :>

POV: Lights had gone out, the room left empty, except for the hundreds of meaningful painting surrounding me.
Each one with a different story, just like the one in front on me.
The one he made just for me..
I stood there silent in the massive chamber; their arms wrapped around me. Their warm breath sending electrifying chills down my spine.
Today was our 5th year anniversary and I'm spending it with my lover, my soulmate.
Our usual date; coming to the art museum waiting for them to find me. Talking without words and confessing our love for each other in silence.
They always did... they always came.
No matter how many years pass, they're still in love with me as I am in love with them.
I made this a few weeks ago heheh Wattpad xxyourhoeeexx â¨đŚ
