Hi. This is my original song, "A World of My Own". I didn't quite like the first version I posted a while back since I still hadn't had all the practice I had wanted in order to make a recording and I had messed up the chorus version on the last video, but I'm re-uploading it now to make up for it. I wrote the song less than two years ago, and it's about wanting a world of your own, and not feeling like you belong anywhere or feel at home. I wrote it because of my experience of being bullied and not having a lot of friends, along with a lot of other factors, but this is the overall outcome. I feel as if songwriting is the only way that I can really express a lot of my feelings and emotions, and I put a lot of hard work into the song. It's also based on Alice in Wonderland, where Alice sings about wanting a wonderland of her own as well. I have an entire collection of songs telling my story similar in a fashion to that story, so I hope I can continue doing what I do for a very long time.
