Galaxy S10 is GOAT Samsung. Full screen design, three camera setup, expandable storage, headphone jack, fingerprint sensor under screen, edge display. Just doesn’t get any better.

S8,S9 & S10 is peak Samsung design. The S8 is probably my fav phone ever, it made me switch from iphone to android - the front looked amazing.

Going from a samsung s3 mini to the s7 was like a whole new world opening up, don’t think there’ll be a feeling like that again with phones haha

The reason you felt Samsung play safe on S20 - 22 was because around the time they tried foldable phone. They needed to play safe on their flagship as they were going crazy with new form factor.

01:33 I'm a Korean. Fun Fact, Externally, the 'S' may stand for "Super Smart," but originally, it wasn't so grand. The 'S' in Galaxy S stands for the first letter of "SK telecom." In South Korea, there are three major Carrier : KT, LG U+, and SK telecom. When the Galaxy was first released, it came out exclusively with SK telecom (SKT), hence the name Galaxy S. There are also models like Galaxy K (SHW-M130K) and Galaxy U (SHW-M130L). If Galaxy had been released exclusively with Verizon in the United States, it would likely have been named Galaxy V. haha.

It's incredible how you kept me stuck on the screen for 45 minutes watching a video on the history of Samsung smartphones. I never had a Samsung phone, and I have ADHD, so congrats, you're VERY entertaining

Woah, the S8 back then was a game changer, and this is the phone that brought me back to Samsung. And then, OneUI came and changes almost all of the things. Still on my favorite among them is S10 Plus 5G with all of the goodies like microSD, headphone jack, four cameras.

I'm from Singapore and our version of S2 was a physical rectangular home button with 2 capacitive button. Even the camera was rectangular in shaped.

You forgot about the Universal Remote feature on the S5 & S6 phones. It was super clutch and I used to ALL THE TIME!!

the SUPER battery saving mode on s5 was the best!! went full b&w, basic features, but would last FOREVER. i could go to sleep with 5% battery and be confident my alarm would go off & i could text the next morning

23:46 The galaxy S9 plus had a dual camera setup (main and f2.4 2x telephoto), so the S10 was not the first galaxy S with more than one camera! I think S10 had dual aperture as well? The heart rate sensor was present for many years too, S20 was where they removed it! Great video!!! I had S8 and S10 and loved them

The S8 and S9 gen having a physically moving touch screen home button was underrated!

28:51 Fun fact, the S9+ was actually the first samsung S phone with multiple rear cameras with a total of 2.

Wow, this made me nostalgic. My first phone was an S Duos, my second phone was a J5 and my third and current phone is an A20e. I still remember when all those news came out like the S6 edge. I'm only 20 years old, so this nostalgia feeling of something that still feels so new being old is new to me.

S10 will always be peak for me. It was the phone with the most, it had all the things the current phones have, like triple cameras, under screen fingerprint scanner etc. still had headphone jack, Micro sd card slot, the heart rate monitor and 1440p screen. Every model after this they slowly removed all these features... I really want a new phone with better cameras, but it's hard to let go of the s10 and lose all those features.

I can't believe you went through the s7 without going over it's ip68 rating. It really made that the normal for all phones now. Heck linus took it in the ocean during his review!

S5 had an IR blaster. Loved it, allowed you to run any T.V., stereo, vcr or dvd player. Easy to program. Didn't need a stack of remotes next to me and though remotes always seemed to grow legs I always knew where my phone was. 😉

Ive kept my Galaxy s6 edge all of these years to check in on from time to time because that one has still most impressive feel in the hand. Stunning convergence of engineering and materials.
