I don't know if this is scientific, but when I am trying to learn something I find that there are periods of growth in learning and then periods of stagnation. When I learn something, there is a physical manifestation of that learning in my body. Today, I have had a quickening of pulse and heart rate. I have learned more (I hope) from this lesson than I have in the last many months. Thank you again Stitch.

Lots of guitar channels out there with cool editing, nice gear, entertaining pieces or funny bits etc but this is where I keep coming back to actually learn guitar. Perfect pace and delivery. This one really brought everything into perspective for me. Can't wait to access the training materials.

Recent subscriber and intermediate player here, working my way through your content. What makes you probably the most accessible guitar teacher on YouTube is clearly demonstrated in this masterclass: (1) your gift for clear explanation at a layperson's level, (2) not sidestepping the critical issue of understanding the underlying principles of music theory, and (3) focusing on playing correct notes rather than flashy licks. Perhaps most compelling is your authentic desire to help others master the guitar, as you clearly have. The world needs more folks like you. Thank you so much for all these things, you have earned a follower.

“…this is the most boring stuff in the world…” nah man, this fascinating. I’ve only been playing for about a year and I’ve learned some scales, a bunch of chords, I’m well on my way to internalizing the notes on the fret board, but the thing that I’ve struggled with is how to choose notes to match a solo to a chord progression. I think my answer is in here, I just need to play with it.

Hello brother.I just found your channel tonight. You have proven no matter how long you have been playing you never stop learning if you are really desire to be good. I started playing at the age of 13 and now I am 67. Hang on to that les paul. You can buy 100 les pauls and find one that sounds like the lp should sound. I have played pro and have not found maybe one other channel than yours that I can get a real lesson. Thank you for your intellectual lessons.
