My mom died Feb 20th 2020. At 19 I was in a downward spiral of alcoholism, sitting on my bed at 22 a few months back I was drunk out of my mind and listening to music. This song came on and I bawled, I had been so tired for so long and didn’t know. The alcohol was masking it but this song let out all my emotions that I had bottled up since my mother died. I have since been 2 months sober and have rekindled my relationship with God. 2:19 are the lyrics that stood out to me the most because I would ask myself this constantly and the answer is yes. Broken, fragile, depressed, anxious etc is it enough for God. He takes you as you are, he heals you and comforts you in your times of need, he stops raging storms from passing over you. Seek him in your time of need and your prayers will never go unanswered. Bless all those who are going through tough times right now. 💜

This song brings so much pain yet relief through tears because it is a surrender to the Lord for Him to take our burdens. The scene of Zendeya in church and the comfort of the hug was a beautiful picture of what happens when we come to God. And her speaking to her dad was her speaking to God and Him showing her that He loves her and welcomes her back into His embrace.
