Toga being beaten by her parents for how she smiles and how her smile looks really makes me feel mad at the way the system has failed her. It's obvious that she was abused and mistreated and people treat people so badly for their quirks and there's no system to actually handle that kind of thing. There needs to be something to deal with the parents who don't like how their kids come out. Or that they don't like how their quirks are. Toga is a victim of child abuse.

I ADORE both versions of this song!
The first version was incredibly unhinged; someone who was truly deranged and the music showed that as well with the loudness to it.
This version, however, while showing similar aspects, is more tone downed which somehow makes it more creepy. You hear how unhinged the singer is, but it’s almost as if the music is trying to hide it with its more calm nature. And it’s not until the end where the manic laugh comes in, when the music is quiet, where you see how the singer is in fact crazy as hell.
A little difficult to explain my thought process, but hope I got my point across. Wonderful song, Madds, everyone who worked on it did so beautifully! <3

Toga's song gets a revamp!!! Since the song was released more than a year before the record, I wanted to revisit it so the newer version would fit better sonically with the album. That, and I wanted it to be creepier! I've never had so much fun laughing in my entire life!
