As a Japanese-American I get this a lot. People are weird about my people. The weebs just creep me out. I get liking anime. I like anime too. But there is this unsettling obsession and fetishizing by people who think the Japanese are some kind of superior people. We aren’t and a world war taught us the hard way about that. I think I have encountered these people more than conventional forms of racism.
