lmao brent rivera's mom was a teacher at my elementary school. there were times when she would let him onto campus after school to record videos with her students which is weird and completely against the regulations of my district. there were a lot of teachers who wanted her fired because we're not supposed to have people filming without express consent from higher-ups. its also just weird to film and profit off of elementary schoolers without parent permission imo. he also used to get so offended whenever kids didn't go frothing-at-the-mouth insane for him. If I had to choose between letting my hypothetical future kid watch regular youtube vs videos that are specifically made for kids, I'd choose regular youtube. It's somehow more wholesome. I mean, zoomers may have seen things we shouldn't have seen online as kids, but at least we didn't grow up on Spider Man impregnating Elsa with Minnie Mouse as the midwife.

I actually have a pretty interesting story abt him. I had to help w making a 3D model of him and his sister for this influencer game but I didnāt know him at the time. The game was targeted to kids but it was a water-related game, which meant they were are wearing swimsuits. To be honest, I didnāt think the models were appropriate for kids at all but unfortunately no one wanted to do anything about it and I was an intern so I didnāt have much power over any final designs. Itās insane how he gets away with catering videos like that to kids. I donāt think he has much of a moral compass because he was one of the first people to collab with james charles after the whole scandal
