I feel so extremely lucky to have recognized that it didnโt matter what other people thought about me at such a young age. I was about 10 or 11 years old when I started to live how i wanted to live. My school, hobbies, friends, how I dressed, what I said, or my relationship with family was all based on what I wanted snd what I liked and never based on other peoples opinion. I didnโt need outside validation or approval. I didnโt need everyone to like me either. This outlook has allowed me to truly live the life that I wanted to be who I truly was.. I consider myself successful and at peace snd it had nothing to do with money or illusions. ..something that sadly most people will never experience.
The side effect of this mentality however is that Iโm not close with family and I donโt have many friends because people do not like it when you donโt conform to their expectations and make decisions based on what you want and not what they want you to want for them.
No regrets. Iโve lived a great life.
