These are probably what this channel should focus on. I think you have two options: either spin off a new channel with these kinds of videos and use the old one to [again and again] target the jawline & looksmaxing audience [and to also still benefit & monetize the attention for these topics] or use your main channel and try to convert as much of your main channel audience to this new content.
How about:
1. Rebranding the main channel away from your name [or pseudo name], but still the same old content. If you wanted to up the effort/ quality you could move more towards a content type like Qoves studio. Or you just stick eith with the old formula.
2. Create a channel for these essays. Therefore you also have new statistics to measure against and not every 3K views video is a 10/10 compared to your best jawline video.
Another potential benefit could be moving away from the self image of "I teach people Bro Science about how to look more like me" [just trying to come up with potential negative selftalk] to a more serious, journalististic approach with these essays. Using and citing sources etc.
3. Use you sencond [the already existing] channel for the challenges and fitness videos ["I did this or that fitness challenge"]
4. If you still want a channel about your personal life, you could again seperate personal life and fitness. [Obviously this links the downsides of many channels and managing them, like splitting your attention. But it also could dillute the self worth attachment to each.
Additionally: you could create a show, basically a podcast, but video. Where the content is the guest. Like you already did with some other male lifestyle youtubers. You are still there, it also is partially personal, but the guest is the focus.
Potential guests: What I've learned, Jesse James West, Jeff Nippard, Alpha M, Mike Mew, Browne
Since historically your content leaned into that direction.
You could ask them about their strategies about building an audience for this type of content. The spin is basically revealing the "behind the scenes" of these famous people or influencers.
Depending on which direction you want to go you could end up like: "Huberman Lab", "Colin and Samir", "Chris Williamson".
This seems reasonable to me. But one the other hand, I don't have 1M subs on Youtube. Therefore your opinion on this matter is probably a far better indicator for what you should do than any of the "leftover core audience's" opinion, including mine.
I am at least partially projecting onto you, since I admire what you built so far.
And am looking for what you will build.
