Lex, long-time listener, first time commenter. I have followed you for a couple of years now and want you to know that you have impacted my life in such a positive way. Your kindness, positivity and fairness is rare and beautiful. You consistently remind us of the love-angle. It really is all we need. Thank you for doing what you do. Your personality along with your intelligence and wit make all of your interviews so incredibly interesting. I want to be sure you know you have impact. It is real. Do not listen to the haters. You are so much more loved than I think you realize. Great interview! I would vote for Harvey if I could.

It's a testament to Lex as an interviewer that I genuinely have no idea where he falls on the political spectrum.

It's a sad statement about my life that Lex saying "...and now, dear friends,,," is often the highlight of my day.

FIRE helped me when I was fired from my professorship without due process just for my poetry. Thank you.

My mother went to Bogota High School (a very small school back in her day) with Mr. Silverglate. I always remembered his name because it was so distinctive, so this video jumped out at me. I wish I could remember why she talked about him and not anyone else from her school but I know whatever context it was, it was surely positive.. She passed in 2016, so it's too bad she can't watch the video with me because I know she would've loved to.

I am in awe of your ability to bring on folks I've never heard of and conduct thought-provoking and unbiased interviews. It's a rare skill. Another person commented that your work has impacted her life in a positive way. The same is true for me. As an immigrant and a naturalized American, I love this country as much as you do. I applaud you for your efforts to encourage open dialogue and, by doing so, inspire all of us to live up to our true potential as human beings. Thank you.

The thing I love about Lex is that he appears to be asking the questions which would further his own understanding. Sometimes I even feel he does a lot of reflection off-camera. He also manages to stay respectful when he disagrees (strongly)

Found myself replaying timestamps. Interesting. My world, my mind, my heart grows a little with each of your interviews. Much gratitude to you and Harvey. I wish I could sit on more of his lectures.

Strange that overall I agree with this guest but I have issue with so many individual statements. He uses a surprising amount of absolutes when he talks. “No one, always, never” etc.

I think Lex has come a long way in his development as an interviewer. His content is very much needed. Thank you Lex.

This guy is my spirit animal. He says everything I'm thinking. Great to have a voice of rationality during these crazy times.

What a powerful episode. Heard it twice already. You can tell Lex was moved by Harvey’s life story and mission. So moving to see someone still fighting vigorously for values like free speech at 80 when he can easily retire and not deal with the issues of our day. Thanks Lex.

Mr. Silverglate is the first public figure I’ve heard say two things I say all the time, and he said them right in a row! 1) Affirmative action is wrong; what we really need is to improve early education for “the marginalized” 2) Public unions need to be abolished! Great convo all-around, Lex! Thank you for all your great work and amazing interviews.
