“As we understand the universe better and better, some things stick with us, and others get replaced.” Brilliantly stated. Great podcast!

I've seen almost every one of your podcasts - this one takes the cake for me. Not just Sean, but your consistent engagement and how you keep him talking is top tier. Thank you both!

Sean Carroll is definitely the best scientific communicator alive I think. Can make really complex ideas sound simple, is engaging and respectful, doesn't talk down, whilst still gently correcting misconceptions. Brilliant really. Perhaps a slight criticism is that he's just a tad too laid-back , could show a bit more passion, but minor nitpick really.

I have learned so much from Dr. Carroll through all these years, the easy way to explain such difficult concepts seems like a gift..

Sean Carroll is amazing! He hosts one of the best science and philosophy podcasts. A true scholar with a wealth of knowledge, a clear mind, and a lucid explainer of complicated subjects.

I love the questions Lex asks. He is the perfect bridge between the listener and the person being interviewed.

I respect him and appreciate his mind and ability to communicate. He says he doesn’t know how time or existence began, or why it all is here. But at the same time he denies and derides the possibility and belief of a “higher power” that allowed it all to be. 🤔

Sean is always such a joy to listen to. That velvety voice aside, he is so courteous, and understands the dynamics of conversation as deeply as he understands the dynamics of thermodynamics. I hope everyone listening subs to his channel!!!

Yes Lex!! Sean Carrol and Brian Cox are the two best Physicists doing podcasts I think! Glad he’s back. NOW DO BRIAN COX NEXT!!!! ASAP!!!! Edit:Agreed Brian Greene is amazing! He’s in there too. Brian Greene also has about a million hours of talks posted, which I listen to all the time too. But Brian Cox doesn’t have as much, yet he’s amazing and we need more. So chill out lol

Wow, thank you Lex for this stimulating episode with Sean Carroll. Even a layperson like me can start loving science after watching your podcast! I respect you, I like you, and I agree with you that science is a fascinating subject! Thank you so much.

Sean is right that people don’t know how to disagree. For too many people either go to the insults, raise their voice, strawman the argument, or get up and leave.
