Epley Maneuver - How To Do It & How It Works (VERTIGO FIX!)

The Epley Maneuver is the quickest and most effective way to fix positional Vertigo also known as BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). Often times you can cure the vertigo or BPPV yourself by doing the Epley maneuver yourself at home. I will show you how to do it in this Epley maneuver video. I also show how it works for bppv! Understanding why the Epley Maneuver works is just as important as doing The Epley Maneuver. If you understand how it works, you are less likely to suffer from repeat vertigo episodes. The Epley Maneuver won't work unless you test for positional vertigo with the Dix Hallpike (which I demonstrate).
Whether you need a Right Epley Maneuver or a Left Epley Maneuver, this video will help you determine the correct side. Epley Maneuver for vertigo is something that you can do by yourself with a high level of success!

Hopefully this maneuver helps! If not, try the Semont Maneuver: - https://youtu.be/-6kJhd4AFMo

I just want you to know that this video has literally changed my life for the better. I could cry at how happy I was when the dizziness went away almost immediately. I pray that you and your family live a long, happy and prosperous life. Thank you soo much.

Tried this - and it worked..!!! Word to the wise: do this on an empty stomach. Each step of the maneuver did make me a little dizzy. Got to the last step (turning on my left side, head turned towards the floor), felt a strong rush of dizziness, sudden nauseous overcame me and I lost my lunch. The vertigo was gone though - and hasn't returned.

Dr. Epley was my Uncle. This was a nice big surprise to see this and to know his work is still helping others!

THIS WORKED FOR ME! I’m a 48-year-old male from the UK. I developed what I soon realised was vertigo on a Friday evening whilst laying in bed. It was horrific, spinning followed by vomiting more spinning and vomiting. I’ve never felt so out of control in all my life, completely debilitating and exhausting. This went on all weekend until on the Sunday when I was able to sit down and have a look at some YouTube info on the condition , I found the Epley manoeuvre and gave it a go immediately twice on the right side with no obvious effects and then once on the left. As soon as I rolled my head over I could feel the spinning and my wife said that my eyes were twitching like mad, I just managed to control it so I wasn’t sick. I went through the manoeuvre holding for 60 seconds in the 3 positions, until I eventually set up. I still felt terrible and it didn’t immediately stop the nausea side of the condition so I went to bed sat up slightly. I woke up at 2 o’clock in the morning for the first time without the room swimming in four days I could’ve cried! I rolled over where I would normally have been back in a flat spin. I went straight back to sleep and woke up like nothing had ever happened. Thank Goodness, my relief was insane. I’d encourage anyone to give it a try.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU for explaining this SO WELL!!!! I was suffering from extreme Vertigo for the past 5 weeks and after following your instructions, it's GONE!!! I know 5 weeks may not seem like much, but when every move needs to be calculated to prevent extreme dizziness, day and night, I feel like I GOT MY LIFE BACK! THANK YOU!!!!

Wow cured my wife's spinning and dizziness. I went online looked at this video and had my wife try it. We did it twice going left to right. She's been suffering from this for two weeks. Going to see a specialist but in the meantime, nothing else worked. She was given medication for spinning, which put her to sleep all day. Not good when we have two kids. Thank you so much and God Bless you! If you have vertigo it is worth giving this a try.

Thank you so much. I’ve just done two lots of this movement and I will try again later. I felt like I was going to be sick a few times but it subsided quickly. Anyone reading this, persevere and be kind to yourself, you can do this! ❤

Having vertigo is no joke, I was sitting in front of the toilet from being so nauseous and tried this video. Oh goodness, the room was spinning violently with my head turned like the video says but praise God it worked the first time! 🙌 Thank you for such an easy to follow tutorial with the explanation of the crystals. Great job! 👍

Thank you so much!! Had it for about 3 days and couldn’t take it anymore, i have a toddler and play soccer so it was really starting to get to me, thank you for this video and explanation, i was able to get it done in 3 tries, make sure you hold for 30 seconds to a min, thats why my other 2 tries didn’t work. I did it 4th and 5th time just to make sure its gone and there was no dizziness at all. Hope it never comes again to none of us.

As a kid, I remember telling my mom that my equilibrium was off, without knowing what that word meant. My grandmother and grandfather suffered from vertigo, as well. Anyway, I'm just laying here feeling terrible, then this pops up. What timing, many thanks!

I just spent about an hour reading articles and watching videos for how to do the exercise. This is the best explained video, that includes information at the end showing an ear model and why the exercise works. That really helped motivate me to do it, which I needed because wow did it make me spin horribly. Giving it enough time the spinning would stop from each position. I'm hopeful this is going to help. Update: It completely fixed the problem, only took one time!

I know a person that had it done professionally almost 15 years ago. This worked extremely well and has never had to be redone again as was expected.

I repainted the inside of my house abut 20 years ago. Just as I was finishing the room stated spinning and I ended up on the floor. I thought I was having a stroke, but I was not that old. It subsided in a few hours, but I was slightly dizzy for weeks. I did go to my doctor who referred me to an ENT. BPPV was the diagnosis and I was shown how to do the Epley Maneuver. I get vertigo about once every two years, and then maneuver works like a charm.
