(Fictional story written by me) Characters name: Kate and Tom We were laying down on the grass looking at the stars , well , I was looking at the stars. I could feel him looking at me. I’ve had a crush on Tom since middle school , now , we’re both in high school. Tom: it’s lovely , isn’t? Kate: yes , it is. I looked at him and there he was , looking at me. I smiled. Tom: your pretty. What..did he say I’m pretty?! My face was so red Kate: thank you. Tom: I’m having a birthday party , I was wondering…if you c-could come please? Kate: of course I will come. I have to get a birthday present for him. It needs to be special. My phone was ringing, it was my dad , I answered. Kate: hello? Kate’s dad: hi Kate I’m in my way to pick you up. Kate: ok dad I’m just going to say goodbye to Tom. Kate’s dad: Alright sweetie. I looked at Tom’s eyes oh there are beautiful. Dark brown eyes. Kate: my dad is on his way to pick me up. Thank you for a lovley night. Tom: Your welcome. Alright goodbye. I got up and I saw my dad’s car. Ran to my dad. Kate’s dad: hi sweetie. Did you have fun? Kate: yes I had a great time. Kate’s dad: that’s good. And we went off to go home. (Next day) My dad dropped me off to the mall to get a present for my best friend Tom. But what should I get him? This is hard. I started to walk , then I saw a musical store , something like that. I remembered that Tom always wanted to learn how to play the guitar. I went inside the store , and I say a very gorgeous guitar. It was a classic dark brown guitar. I bought it and then went to wrap it. I’m very excited and nervous to see Tom’s reaction when he sees the guitar. I went to bed earlier then usual cause I was very excited. ( next day Tom’s birthday party) I wore a pink dress with a bow on the back and I sprayed my favorite perfume. Then I took the guitar and went to Tom’s house. I took a deep breath, then rang the door bell. Tom’s younger sister opened the door. Tom’s younger sister: hi kate come in. Kate: thanks so much. I saw Tom running. Tom: kate your here! I laughed. Then he led me to the living room where the party was at. All of are friends we’re here , we had so much fun. After a few hours everyone went home. And I was the last one. Kate: I think it’s time for me to go , my dad is going to come to pick me up. Tom: wait. I want to open your present. Tom didn’t open any of his presents yet. Tom: let’s wait till your dad comes. Kate: ok. He took my present then started to opend it. His face led up when he saw the guitar. Tom screamed in excitement. Tom: a guitar! A classical guitar. YAY. Then he jumped to hug me. Tom: thank you so much kate your the best. My face was so red. Kate: Your welcome Tom. I’m glad you like it. Tom: like it? I LOVE IT I laughed because I was so happy. I heard my dads car. Kate: goodbye Tom that must be my dad. Tom: let me walk you out. We went outside and I saw my dad’s car. Kate: thanks so much for having me. Tom: thank you for coming. And thanks for the present. He then grabbed my hand gently , kiss it. Oh my god. Tom: goodbye Kate. Kate: goodbye Tom. And I went to my dad’s car.
