As a teenager and until one week ago, I used to be addicted to dumping dopamine in my system to experience accessible happiness. The techniques that I used to engage in were extremely harmful to the brain. My attention span wasn't stable and today as a university student, a maintained attention span is a significant characteristic that one should acquire, my dopamine addiction used to make me distant from informative content. I used to be hooked on TikTok and would spend hours watching 10-second videos back to back to the point it ruined my interests. However, an hour ago, I decided to randomly click on this video just out of curiosity from the title. I desperately wanted to heal my mind in order to succeed in life, and let me tell you that this one-hour podcast was worth years of my future. The techniques listed are extremely critical in maintaining a healthy brain and thus a positive mind. Thank you for this guideline and I truly believe that I am from now on, a healed brain.

Thank you so much for this video. I'm a mom, and I search every day for ways to do better for my children. I'm feeling sometimes that it's too hard on them to learn how to eat to be healthier in this world. Because other children are eating candy while mine are eating nuts and fruit. Or make them ovoid breakfast cereals and so on.
But listening to you gives me the strength to continue because that's what is best for them, even they are complaining about it all the time.
Thanks again for what you're doing πŸ™

I turned 75 in May. Quit drinking, smoking, eating meat that's dead, and eliminating pharmaceuticals completely. I feel great!

The sadness of feeding school children brain crushing food is heartbreaking. His comment of feeding poor children all this sugar will keep them poor is terrifying considering so many of public schools are Title 1 schools with food assistance programs. There needs to be change.

Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.

I was diagnosed with Trauma since my teenage, spent my whole life fighting ADHD. Also suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be use globally to help people with related health challenges.

As a registered nurse who has passed countless medications, I 100% ABSOLUTELY LOVE his purpose! It saddens me to see how easy practitioners will write a script, which never really gets to the root of the cause. He actually prefers to treat the root cause and attempt to change habits first. Best of luck to you Dr. Amen!!
