We both love the moon, love the stars, love everything referring to astronomy. But no matter how impressing the stars might be and how beautiful every night sky is, the person I love is way prettier in every way. āHey, look! Watch how the moon is full and bright tonight!ā
She looks at you, all the stars in the sky reflecting in her wide, deep eyes.
You couldnāt turn away even if you wanted to, her eyes just seem to absorb your soul, making you unable to move or act properly.
She giggles, gently pushes you, breaks eye contact and says āSeriously, look up! there is no moon in my eyes!ā
She rolls her eyes and looks up.
If only she knewā¦ There isnāt any moon in her eyes but there is a whole universe.
You can see all her emotions, from happiness to pain; all the things she wished she said and all the things she shouldnāt have said; everything she would die for and everything she would die not to; her attraction or her disgust, for someone or something; her dreams and her hopesā¦
All of that in those two little eyes. In this complex universe that makes her personality.
You look up just to see the moon and the night sky.
Itās not even as pretty as the reflection of the stars in her eyes.
āOh, I wished I could go to the moon! Floating in space in my astronaut suitā¦ Seeing the whole wide world in just a lookā¦ Watching the shooting stars traveling across the universeā¦ā
She sighs and says, āYes, I love the moon more than anything else on earth.ā
If only she looked at you and saw how you wished you were the moon right nowā¦

in Brasil, we have a song about the sun falling deeply in love with the moon, but the moon doesn't accept him and he slowly looses hope in everything
it goes:
"the sun proposed to the moon, but the moon backed away and answered 'i don't know! i don't know! i don't know! please, i need some time..'"
it repeats many-many times until it gets to the end and the music finishes:
" and the sun, froze his heart and went forever cold".

I found her as beautiful as the first time we met. The silky white dress soaked with tears, the moon shining perfectly on her shadow. Why must it be such a sorrow yet scene only painters could imagine. She gave me the softest smile just like the moon she adored, slowly falling of the ledge as every beauty about her turn into a red pond. She was as free as the moon she adored now, all I can do is stare at the lady I once loved who lost herself to something she loved more.

Oh I could go onnnn and onnnn about how I love him, I love his eyes his ears his smile his little eyes of excitement, the way he eats the way he looks at me the way he focuses on things. "Hey look at how big the moon is tonight!" She beams smiling at me. She turns and looks back at the moon pointing up. I glace up at the moon for a second, but I feel my eyes just falling back on her. She's so beautiful. "Yeah it looks so neat." I stay in my place as she lowers her arm and continues to look up at the sky. Eventually she turns back towards me. I quickly look back up at the sky. I'm such an idiot. She totally caught me staring. "It's beautiful isn't it?" I look back at her and nod my head. I want to tell her how the moon reminds me of her, but I stay silent. She loves the moon, but I love her.
