It is a universal truth that love is the driving force behind all our actions and behaviors. We are all here, in this world, because of love. But, ironically, it is also the same force that leaves us feeling hopeless, stressed, lonely, sad, hurt, and in constant pain. It makes one wonder, how can something that is supposed to be so beautiful and pure, also cause so much suffering?
As human beings, we are born with an innate desire to love and be loved. However, the sad reality is that we often find ourselves in situations where our love is not reciprocated or appreciated. It can be frustrating and disheartening to constantly put ourselves out there, only to be met with disappointment.
Moreover, it seems like we are all born into negativity. Our world is full of hate, violence, and suffering. It's hard to escape it and find positivity in our daily lives. We often wonder, why are we born into a world that is so cruel and unjust?
To make matters worse, it often feels like humans were made to be evil. We see people hurting each other, animals being mistreated, and the environment being destroyed. It can be overwhelming to think about how we, as a species, are capable of so much destruction and pain.
So, how do we fix this problem of being in constant pain? It's a difficult question to answer, but it starts with acknowledging the problem and making a conscious effort to change our behavior. We need to be more kind, compassionate, and empathetic towards each other. We need to learn to love ourselves and others unconditionally, and strive to make the world a better place for everyone.

I just moved "back home" to the states after living in the Bahamas. I am unpacking and this hit just right. Reflecting on my life that's over now there. The people I left behind, the disappointment from the unrealized dreams I had...this stage in my life, my kids are grown. Every day is a gift, don't hesitate to take chances, talk to that person you're thinking about, play that game with your kid who asked, go on that adventure, but take everyone you can with you.
